I would never recommend Ms. Bender. She does not listen to children and their concerns, brushes them off. She is arrogant, judges others, and does not gather information from all prospectives-- she assumes the mother is the best parent, even when that parent is verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive! She does not advocate for fathers. She shames children, laughs at them mockingly, and has an ego that is beyond belief. She should lose her license for how incompetent and insensitive she is. She is rigid in her beliefs.

Not a fair reconciliation counselor- refuses to work with my individual counselor "I'm good at what I do, I don't need help." Met several times with one of my parents and never with other parent, judgemental and close minded, not open to hearing full family story. thinks she can fix anything. Does not feel children (teens!) have any say in their relationship with a parent- they must do as told. Even when informed parent is verbally and emotionally abusive with history of being physically abusive. Has an ego larger than life. Manipulative.
