My husband and I have been using Dr. Ausen as our family dentist for many, many years now. We both appreciate the care and time that he takes when doing crowns, fillings etc. He obviously takes pride in the dental care that he provides. We have to drive a ways to see him, but it is well worth it. As noted in the previous comment, there has been staff turnover, since his practice was sold to Forward Dental, but everyone has been pleasant and we have not had an issue with anyone. There does seem to be a focus on billing but that is the way that things seem to be these days. Excellent dental care is our concern and Dr. Ausen provides the very best. He will continue to be our dentist of choice.

Have been going to him for years, when he was in private practice and since becoming affiliated with Forward Dental. Dr. Ausen is very knowledgeable however, since joining Forward Dental, I have noticed a lot of turnover in front office staff and a lack of customer service and courtesy. More and more, I am left feeling that the office staff is most concerned with getting my payment -- and the reason for my appointment (either being routine check up or procedure) is a secondary concern. I am seriously considering finding a new dentist because I do not like interaction with and attitude of the office staff. Too bad because Dr. Ausen is a good dentist . . . but I expect to be treated professionally during my office visits.
