Worst RA doctor I've seen. Wrongly diagnosed me. After seeing my negative blood results and wiggling my joints around in a very brief interaction, decided I should be on a very invasive RA treatment. My family and I decided to get a second opinion and turned out I don't have RA but a curable Lyme disease. I've not had symptoms since the proper diagnosis and more inclusive tests. I could be injecting myself with wrong medicine; worst case I could be dead from misdiagnosis. Please get another opinion. Or at least a more professional one.

Called the office saying I will be 5 mins late. They refused to take me, then billed me months later $150 for a "no-show". Rude staff.

Update: in less than 2 months they dropped me saying they tried to reach me many times. The dr office failed to contact me nor did altus infusion. Worst treatment ever from a doctor. Ashamed i even went here. Seem great at first. Maybe he can not keep up with his patients but it was pretty empty. All well their lost my gain because now i get to chose a beeter dr. He was my choice due to scheduling. I hate writting these types of reviews but sometimes it is warranted. If I get worse because of this it may be a another matter.

I called this office and let them know i was running a little late and was trying to find facility i live about and hr to hr and a half away and they gave me directions to get there instead of telling me when i was six miles away that they could not see me they let me get all the way there and refused service to me after my long drive. i told them i would wait not matter how long it took and the dr. would not see me. I know it was my fault for getting there late but i called that office twice on my way there and they never said they were not going to let me see the dr. on top of that they asked me to come back on a different day. why would i give that dr. any of my money. they were very unfriendly and the dr. only had one patient after me and they still had thirty minutes before she was due. even though that person was the last patiient of the day he would not see me afterwards. what a jerk.

I like Dr. Penmetcha. He diagnosed me with fibromyalgia (which I already knew I had. It had been a few yrs. since being diagnosed. I wanted a 2nd opinion and didn't tell him that I had been previously diagnosed. He ran all the blood tests, ruled out serious disorders and continues to test yearly for RA and Lupus. He's asked me if I want to try new meds for FMS but mine work pretty well so I just stay with the original RX's. I've had no problem with him, he isn't real chatty though.

This doctor should have his license taken away. I have been suffering from severe joint pain and arthritis for almost a year and have been trying to find a doctor that I could afford and who would take the time to diagnose me. I told him this when he walked into the room. He did not want my medical history or care about family history. He kept interrupting me when I tried to explain my symptoms. He quickly looked at my joints and actually touched my feet through my shoes - I had to ask him if I should take my shoes off so that he could see the nodules on my toes. There are days I can't walk or even brush my hair, not to mention extreme pain and stiffness. This doctor maybe spent 15 min total and also gave me a brochure on Fibromyalgia as he said sorry I cant help you but this is what you have. He did not even order tests or answer any questions I had. He acknowledged my arthritis, then told me I did not have arthritis, then wrote me a pain prescription... WORST DOCTOR IN THE WORLD!!!!!

I was treated very badly by this doctor. I left his office crying. He told me that I have tendonitis, carpel tunnel syndrome and osteoarthritis and he never did any tests on me He said there was nothing that could be done for me but to take an anti-inflammatory. He didnt want to answer any questions I had. I only saw him twice. He was very disrespectful and told me that anxiety was my problem.

I am satisfied thus far with him. He spent a considerable amount of time and I feel my diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is correct as I seem to mimic every symptom. He explained everything to me and seemed to know everything about it and ruled out a very dangerous autoimmune disease. I feel very satisfied and his bedside manner seemed appropriate to me. I hate that it will be 6-8 weeks before this medicine stops the pain and I am considering seeing him again soon for something until this new medicine kicks in.
