He couldn't recognize textbook definition of anaphylaxis. Has no medical knowledge of food allergies, but has very strong (and incorrect) OPINIONS about it. Didn't research compound used for control in food challenge thus used allergen for control capsules. Then decided reactions were psychosomatic in nature because the control capsules caused allergic reactions. Also, staff and office was highly scented with perfumes and other scented chemicals.
