Finally I am beginning to heal thanks to the people at McAuliffe Chiropractic.

After feeling a pop in my lower back, the only thing I could do was drop down and lay on the floor. I could not sit much less stand and walk. Too much pain. My regular doctor could only prescribe opiod narcotics, strong muscle relaxers and ibuprofen. After 2 weeks of the drugs, the same thing happened. Back down on the floor and taking more of the same drugs.

My wife was concerned that I was becoming "dazed" from the drugs and driving to work in that state. She called The McAuliffe Chiropratic Office.

Dr. Kathy pinpointed my problem areas with a visual inspection of my back and an xray of the spine. That evening she perfomed a gentle adjustment that allowed me to walk a bit more comfortably and without shuffling so much. After just few weeks of adjustments, I am completely pain free and have emerged from my drug induced "daze".

I am working out to strengthen core muscle groups that support the spine. These types of exercises were shown and taught to me by Dr. Kathy. The office also stresses good nutrition. Dr. Kathy has encouraged ( actually she has challenged ) me to do some weight training which I will do. I've lost weight, look better ( if that's possible ;) ), and feel almost like the same boy I used to be ( I am 63 ). Thanks!
