VERY SKETCHIE PERSONA;LITY. MUCH DUE TO ? DIVORCE/ POOR OFFICE HELP. NON MED. PEOPLE CALLING THE SHOTS, BEFORE LETTING U SPEAK TO DR. AND HE THEN WILL OR WILL NOT PERSCRIBE. NOT ON TIME. DOES NOT FOLLOW UP. NOR DISCUSS BLOOD TESTS FOR YR PHYSICAL. VERY VERY UNUSUAL PERSONALITY. GETS SIDE TRACTED, AND DISCUSSES ART WORK IN RECEPTION ROOM. SEEKING NEW DR. ASAP. HE SHOULD SHAPE UP. LOST HIS BEST OFFICE PERSONEL FEW YRS BACK. SHE KNEW ALL, AND REALLY RAN THINGS WELL. A GREAT LOSS. SOME ONES GAIN.

In my opinion, David Pino is a Horrible physician and I would stay away from him! All he does is write prescriptions when he saw me. He acted like his time was always more valuable than mine despite the fact that I made ten times what he made...I don't think he ever tried to truly understand my problems but just get me in and out and send me off with multiple prescriptions for things that made no sense!...he once gave me depression medication after seeing me for five minutes because he looked at me said "You look depressed"...and he was completely wrong! All this guy did for years was just write prescriptions that were not really relevant to my issues so I quit going to him....I would STAY AWAY from what I believe is truly one of the worst physicians ever!

I went to him at American Weight Loss Center for Phentermine 30mg. He was 45 minutes late, didn't listen to me, never made eye contact and it felt like he was on autopilot. I returned the following week and told him that the phentermine had me so wired that I was exhausted by 3:00 p.m., and could not sleep either, and that I didn't like the side effects. I asked to instead get an appetitie suppressant without a stimulant. He interrupted me, got immediately verbally defensive, antagonistic and hostile in a seemingly irrelevant response. He physically stood too close face-to-face with me which was intimidating, almost yelling that he was an internist (irrelevant), and concluding said I needed blood work. It was extremely odd behavior for a doctor, and I felt like possibly he was 'on' something. This was not normal calm rational professional behavior where a dr. normally explains options quite patiently, and cares if a medication isn't working for a patient. Very weird. I don't trust him.
