Dr.MacFarlane has been my children’s pediatrician since 1993 and this year with my youngest two turning 21 this May. You could not ask for a more professional office staff always polite and return calls in a timely manner . Dr. MacFarlane took time to ask questions and answer as well. My grandchildren are his patients as well. Five stars I’d give 10 if I could.

Dr. MacFarlane is the best Pediatrician I have ever seen. I went to him as a child, and now I send my son to him. He is extremely knowledgeable on every topic, and is not quick to prescibe medications/unnecessary tests. He gives advice on home remedies to try first, which I appreciate. He is very calm, which is helpful to first-time parents. He is so patient with all of my questions and never makes me feel rushed or makes me feel like my questions are stupid. I will recommend him to anyone who will listen! Great staff, very friendly. He is a gem--don't miss out on this fabulous doctor! I would still go to him if I could.

This office cares about nothing but money. I had a sick child with 102 fever who has been his patient for years. we had a disputed charge from a prior visit. Office said pay or take her to hospial. They really did not care and laughed at me when I voiced oppinion. Horrible office all about money

Dr. MacFarlane is awesome. I have been taking my daughter to him for almost 9 years. I have had tons of bad doctors in my lifetime. I liked him when I first met him and loved him when he came to the hospital to check my daughter. I had a terrible time after delivery and was very sick. I found out how sick 5 years later but on our first visit into his office he checked my daughter said she was perfect then said to my husband look at your wife she doesn't look well at all she needs to see her doctor. He is wonderful with my daughter he listens to my concerns and also asks me what I think. We discuss the situation almost as equals. I've never once felt that my opinion didn't matter or that I was beneath his intelligence. If I am in his office for one thing and I bring up something else he has never said that needs to be another appointment. Most doctors will only discuss one issue and bring you back for additional money. He is fantastic doctor!!!

He's the best. If you make an appointment for a routine physical or other routine checkup and have to wait longer than you would like, just be patient and wait, he is worth it. He is very caring and thorough. My son was always very comfortable going to see Dr. MacFarlane as well. I cannot recommend highly enough !!

Dr. MacFarlane is a diamond. He stands out as one of the absolute best MD's I have ever had experience with. He shows genuine interest in his patients and takes time to get to know them and understand their problems. His knowlege of medicine is exceptional. I would highly recommend him to any parent for their child. I have only high praise for Dr. MacFarlane. He is truly an amazing doctor. Very insightful and extremely caring and thorough.

This is the doctor you want for you kids. Once you have been to him, no one else will be good enough. Our kids are vegetarian, too. We would not take our kids to anyone else. We were told we had to pick a doctor before we had our first, and someone suggested MacFarlane, so I went with him, figuring I probably wouldn't like him and would pick someone else. Never got to meet him before we had the baby. When he came into the room at St. Francis, I knew we would keep him. He looked at the baby and said, "He's perfect." It's just one of those crystal clear memories that will always be one of my favourites. When he left St. Francis, we weren't told how to find him. We were not happy with the doctor who took his place. I was so relieved to find him after not too long. I've had more than my share of bad doctors. Generally, they disgust me. This guy is a doctor because he cares. His interest is in your kids' health, not how much money he can squeeze out of you or you insurance company. Love him

Very helpful, very knowledgeable. He was always able to answer our questions and give helpful insight when we were making decisions. He supported our decision to raise our children vegetarian and gave recommendations about other ways to ensure they got the proper nutrition.
