I am writing a review about my cataract surgery experience at Matossian. The procedure was much more simple than I had thought and although there was an issue that was taken care of I didn't know any difference.

Dr. Matossian is an extremely competent practitioner who presents herself in a knowledgeable, personable and extremely resourceful manner. I have been a patient for over 20 years and always look forward to my annual examination where she updates me on my eye condition and provides constructive assistance for maintaining good eye health. I highly recommend her and her staff to prospective patients.

The Matossian practice is filled with the expertise of highly educated physicians & well trained staff. The office is run extremely professionally. Due to severely dry eyes, I've had the Lipiflow procedure. Assorted Dr.'s have taken care of me, including removal of a lesion & it's biopsy, field of vision & glaucoma testing. Glad I was directed to this practice in 2017 as I'm finding solutions here.

I couldn't disagree more with the previous review. I saw three different doctors at Dr. Matossian's practice: Dr Mueller, Dr. Lutz and Dr. Matossian herself. I had a problem with both my eyes and was truly concerned at one point that I might be in danger of losing an eye. It was pretty scary, really. I was treated by all three doctors mentioned, as well as by all of the staff with great care and professionalism. I'd recoimmend this ractice to anyone.

I urge people to be think carefully before selecting Dr. Cynthia Matossian as their ophthalmologist. My experience with this physician was tragic and as the result of her careless examination and misdiagnosis, I am now completely blind in one eye. Dr. Matossian's concern with the smooth functioning of her office is paramount and good medical practice comes second. Anything that interferes with the perfect running of the office completely throws her, and at these times, in my opinion, she is truly incompetent. The sad thing is, my blindness could have easily been prevented had Dr. Matossian taken the time for a thorough examination. I urge people to avoid Dr. Matossian as a physician.
