Dr. Ascha does not take the time to answer questions and is very hurried. He had so many patients on a Thurs. evening he was running behind. You'd think that would mean he is a good doctor but I found him terse and impatient. I had undergone colonoscopy and endoscopy and he told me to come back in a year due to signs of Barrett's. I asked about special diet and other ways to cope. He put me on Rx and just told me "don't eat 4-5 hours before bed". He didn't tell me the many other things I might do nor give me further info. on the disease, which I have family history for. I am on other medications and he didn't seem to know if they'd impact my esophagus or not. He seemed put off by any questions I would ask and sent his billing person in because I still owed a balance. I was offended by his manner and plan to switch doctors after I pay the office and get my medical records.

Doesn't respond in urgent situations when asked for call backs or for reports of medical procedures.
