I was treated with respect and dignity by all staff. I was listened to intently and was offered helpful insight within one session! I would recommend this office to anyone in need.

When I was 16, I experienced a traumatic event and was referred to Dr. Ramm. He was of great support and assistance in finding hope, and recovery. It was his encouragement and advocacy that helped me to begin college in my senior year of high-school, despite a school principal that raised barriers, unable to see the potential beyond poor attendance and declining grades. It has been over 30 years since I first met Dr. Ramm, and he has helped me many times, through some of the most challenging periods of my life. I have referred several friends, acquaintances and co-workers to him over the years and they too have found his knowledge, expertise, commitment, empathy and genuine support grounded in ethical care to be invaluable. When my teen child disclosed serious symptoms of depression, I was comforted to know Dr. Ramm was there. Years later, my child said to me "Thank you for taking me to see Dr. Ramm, he understands and supports me - it was the best thing you ever did for me"

Dr. Ramm is professional and courteous. I have been fortunate enough to be referred to this office four years ago. He is readily available to listen and provide helpful advice as needed. I was skeptical at first, but quickly realized that he provides an irreplaceable service. Somehow he always knows how to direct our conversation to get the most out of our visit. His staff have politely directed me when necessary. The office is clean and welcoming. He is punctual and accepting of my cancellations. He has helped me through several difficult events in my life. Dr. Ramm truly seems to show an interest in helping and learning from his patients. I am always amazed at his background knowledge on a wide array of topics. His knowledge challenges and pushes me. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Ramm.

I was recommended to Dr. Ramm by some of his fellow professionals during a very traumatic time in my life. I am so glad that I took their recommendation. He has changed my life. Dr. Ramm is very knowledgeable as well as comforting. He has been able to council me through a time in my life that I never thought I would have to experience. I have been associated with several other psychologists in my life and from those experiences I can honestly say that I see Dr. Ramm as a truly exceptional psychologist. I started seeing Doug Ramm as a teenager 20 or so years ago. He was quite helpful to me and I continued as his patient for about four years. Twenty years later I found myself in need of some help again. I tried a therapist in Pittsburgh. He was good, but he was not what I needed. I then thought of trying to contact Dr. Ramm. Dr. Ramm was very open to my return to his care despite his already full schedule. I have been seeing him now for about four years and he has been wonderful. I honestly don’t know where I’d be if it were not for him. He asks all the right questions and helps me explore my issues in depth. I am a gay man and Dr. Ramm has no problem with that, and is quite open to assisting me in this area. I trust him fully with my care and would highly recommend him to others.

I employed the services of Dr. Ramm after the death of my long-time psychologist. I was nervous and apprehensive about having to find a new doctor but, Dr. Ramm made the transition seamless. He helped me to manage my stress and cope with my depression, allowing me to improve my quality of life. Dr. Ramm is an author of a book on achieving happiness in one’s life and his credentials are equally impressive. I am fortunate to have found such a knowledgeable and empathetic man to continue my psychological care. I have great regard for his ethical practice of psychology and the professional relationship that we have developed.

I have been going to Dr. Ramm for a few years now. He has helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life. Dr Ramm has helped me tremendously over the past 20 years with many problems and I never felt the least apprehensive to tell him anything since I knew that I could trust him fully not to divulge anything to anyone outside of the office. He is well known and liked in the community and across the United States by all races and nationalities. He has the highest ethical and moral standards of any doctor I have ever met. Without his help I do not know what would have happened to me today!

I have known Dr. Ramm for over 25 years and sought his council many, many times over the years concerning family matters, grief, job related issues, and personal goal issues. I cannot say enough good things about his counsel and what it has meant to myself and my boys who have also benefited from his counciling through the years. I have and will continue to refer family and friends to him when they need help. His book, which is changing lives for the better for everyone I have given it to, truly demonstrates his caring and sharing heart and earnest wish to improve peoples lives.
