Dr. Susan Poncy has retired. She is no longer practicing. This office currently has a nurse practitioner seeing patients, very nice but not able to see OB patients.

Dr Poncy "retired" from her practice with no notification to current patients. There is no doctor taking over her practice, only a nurse practitioner. Office staff are not helpful in obtaining medical records to be sent to a new doctor. Staff has repeatedly ignored faxed release forms for medical records to be sent to a new physician. Very disappointing.

Never had any trouble with staff or doctor until I called to make my annual visit and was told this doctor retired. I never got any notification that she retired and now the office only has a nurse practitioner. I am very disappointed in this Dr. Very unprofessional.

Staff can be very rude and uncooperative with otherDr.'s requests for paperwork history. 2 friends left practice because of staff!

I moved to FL from up north and had been monitoring a mass on my cervix. I was referred to Dr. Poncy through the PCP I found ( and liked very much) and when I was experiencing an increase in pain I contacted her to have an ultrasound done tom check on the mass. I had previously has 5 ultrasounds done to monitor it before moving, and saw the mass on the screen for myself. When Dr. Poncy did an ultrasound, she had no screen that I could look at and she told me that she didn't see anything wrong at all and everything looked perfect, but wouldnt show me any images. she attributed all of my pain to being overweight and ignored my concerns except to tell me to take birth control continuously. Recently I came up to my home state and decided to see my old gynecologist (I have complete confidence in her and fully trust her ) and she found through a pelvic exam and another ultrasound that not only is the mass definitley still there, but it has grown and needs to be removed. I wish i could post a picture of the scan because it is so incredibly obvious. There is no missing it in the ultrasound image- she either ignored it or is the most clueless doctor ever. I am glad I trusted my instincts and double checked with a trustworthy doctor. This woman is a joke.

I saw Dr. Poncy at the Jupiter Medical Center -

Horrible experience with this office. What a waste of my time and money. While getting my yearly visit here I was given about a four minute window to discuss any issues relevant to me personally. She could not have seemed less interested. She did give me information on something that I found would be a good fit for me. Unfortunately I have been unable to achieve contact with any of her staff in over 8 weeks. Now I will have to pay out of pocket to see a new gynecologist for what I would have done through her office since my yearly is still 7 months away.

I will be contacting any and all physicians boards relevant to her practice in regards to my experience.

If given the option I will launch a formal complaint and ask that she be taken off of my insurance carrier's network.

Her approach to her practice is unethical and negligent.

This is the worst practice I have ever been to. Can't reach the office staff to set up appointments, when they do answer they are unfriendly and you can't get appointments for at least a month out. I called one time in extreme pain, they didn't return my voicemails for two days, and when I did finally reach them on day three they said they could see me four weeks later. Even when I tried to get my records to go elsewhere they told me to call back in a few weeks.

I’ve been seeing Dr Poncy for several years. I was pleased with the level of care for the first few years, but have been very disappointed the last year. She is very late to appointments and refuses to answer questions. She would not return my call about my lab results for 2 weeks and finally had a nurse do it. My insurance is being billed in the most expensive way for me and in a way that she makes the most money. Her office is not billing my annual exam correctly so it is costing me more money and she is making more money off of the claim. I found a new dr and am much happier now.

Wonderful doctor, I loved her. She listened, answered all my questions, was caring and compassionate and was sincerely genuine. I really wish she still practiced OB, as I had to referred to someone else when I got pregnant. Great doctor for GYN needs. Highly recommend.
