Dr. Kanwal is an excellent doctor in all respects. I would highly recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a great physician!

Dr. Kanwal is an excellent doctor and very caring towards her patients. She takes time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. She is competent and efficient. I never had to wait in the room to see her. She has great bedside manner! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

In her last location I was a patient and found staff errors unacceptable: Long waits, wrong chart pulled (same first name, vastly different health needs.) doctor problems: excess testing, incorrect diagnosis for billing, refusal to rebill properly so insurance would pay like they always have, long periods of doctor unavailable and no back up doctor. Now I have alleviated all those problems by choosing a new excellent doctor with efficient staff and back up.

There were 5 errors in four visits with this doctor. Twice billing codes were wrong so my insurance didn't pay. Since I was asked to pay in advance, I was stuck. Office would not rebill correctly. Once the wrong chart was pulled for me, same first name; my medical needs were quite different from person whose chart was presented. Once I checked in and waited 1 1/2 hours only to find my chart was not in the pile, therefore I was not going to be called. A few weeks later the doctor needlessly ordered repeat battery of tests and my insurance wouldn't pay, quite rightly, so lab was stuck. Whether the errors were "office" or the doctor, the results were inadequate patient care. Lastly there is no coverage when this doctor is unavailable. No one in her office covers her patients. This isn't counted by me as an error, but it does make going to this doctor inconvenient. Calling on Friday of any week with a bladder infection and finding doc isn't in until Tuesday is a health hazard and painful.
