Best doc after almost 25 years of reactive arthritis and 5 different doctors.

He knows a lot but he was not helpful. After two visits with Dr Zhu I am at the same place where I began. I am having different symptoms like joint pain, fever, fatigue, among others. After he checked the lab test and realized I do not have any important autoinmune desease he stop paying attention to me. During last visit he just check my results and left. Therefore, here I am knowing what I dont have but still do not know why I feel so bad or what to do to feel better. I would not recommend this doctor to a friend.

Not sure which Dr. the other 2 reviews saw, but Dr. Zhu was extremely thorough and helpful during my visit. went into the office very nervous after reading the prvious reviews. He took the time to answer all of my questions and check out every possibility for my symptoms. I definately recommend this doctor.

Dr. Zhu is fully versed in pharmacology and surgery for inflammatory arthritis, but knows nothing about less toxic treatments (and doesn't seem interested, either). If you prefer something less toxic than the meds he routinely prescribes, you will be on your own. While he never actively fought my trying other methods, it was clear that he was humoring me and thought that I was being foolish. If you don't want to be a full partner in your healing (either with RA or PA) and simply want someone who knows which drugs to give you, he's your man. If you want a true healing partnership, look elsewhere.

This Rheumatologist is fixated only on numbers, blood test counts,not the actual patients symptoms. I had to beg him to put me back on Enbrel, since i had been on it for 8 months with previous Rheum (moved his practice)Dr. Zhu did not want to DX me with my previous Dr's DX. Very stubborn! Keeps telling me i should feel better on Enbrel after a month. HA!!!!!!
