I had a poor overall experience with Dr. Galardy. Dr. Galardy assumed I was describing fantasies when, in fact, I was discussing real, although unusual, events. She was unable to distinguish between psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder. A psychologist made the correct diagnosis, and another psychologist has stated my perceptions are accurate. Dr. Galardy has been unwilling to correct her mistake. I have a strong background in psychology myself, having done research with the former Psychiatrist-in-Chief of McLean Hospital. I would never recommend Dr. Galardy to someone else.
