Dr. Minkoff is a very special real Doctor who goes the extra mile to keep you posted on results. He is a great people person and his knowledge in the field is exceptional. He has been our family Doctor for some 24 years and we always find him reliable, caring and committed to his patients and family. A wonderful man.

I saw Dr. Minkoff fo 10 years before we had a falling out over pain medication. He took a knee-jerk reaction to my taking more pain meds (Vicodin) for right shoulder than he prescribed (I had a lot of pain). He prescribed vicodin for me for 6 years, post- shoulder surgery, where surgery was only 50% effective. He prescribed Vicodin 20 times with no problem with exceeding limit. The first time I erred , he dumped me as a patient. At first, after this one problem with vicodin, he worked with me to wean me off Vicodin but I still needed it for pain. Anyway, since pain was endurable, but still interfering with my life, I worked with him. I that he overreacted and panicked regarding the pain med. All of sudden, out of the blue, he wrote me a letter dismissing me as a patient without talking to me. I believe that one of the doctors who worked in his group influenced him to drop me. I took Vicodin only prescribed by him--no other dr gave me pain med. Also, Minkoff knew I didn't abuse drugs.

His office is in crises mode, he is aloof and arogant. I will never recommend him or his office to anyone...stay clear, money is all they care about

Dr. Minkoff has been my family clinician since I was young. From childhood, to adolescence to adulthood he has been able to diagnose and treat every possible ailment, an in the one instance he could not, he properly referred me so that I could recieve prompt and accurate medical care.

The Dr is great but I am beginning ot feel like a number instead of a patient ...sad .. =( I am a patient that has seen him for years and since day one the office staff has been horrible . I have almost left because of them several times . They are so rude ! Dr M has had some very nice medical assistants with the exception of his current one .She makes you feel rushed ...she is very ABRUPT and often downright ****y! If it weren't for Dr M ..I'd have left years ago ....unfortunately , I am starting to feel like I am in a clinic ..where the the service is bad, the staff unfriendly, and the Dr too busy to give a hoot . :(

I have been going to this doctor for 18plus years and the only complaint I have is the office staff when it comes to scheduling. The doctor always makes you feel you are his only priority. He call me at home and even while I was on vacation to see how I am doing. When I had some recent surgeries, he called me both in hospital and at home to see how I was doing. He always stays involved in your care even when he refers you to a specialist. He never has a problem telling you that he doesn't know the answer, in fact he has actually called other doctors while I am in the room and asked their opinions. Myself and my family consider him one of the best doctors we have ever had. His assistants are always courteous, but as I mentioned before, the schedulling staff is horrible.

Dr. Minkoff has that rare blend of competence and a great "bedside manner". He takes the time to get to know you. He listens to your concerns and questions. He explains his diagnosis and treatment plan. He treats you with respect and as a human being. He also remembers you from one visit to the next. My only regret was that when I moved I couldn't take him with me!
