Dr. Mattson is a wonderful doctor, he took the time to answer all my questions and alleviate my fears of being put to sleep. I have had many previous surgeries and this was the first time that I woke up comfortable and without nausea or vomiting. Dr. Mattson is hands down the best Anesthesiologist I have ever had. Dr. Mattson was kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable, not to mention great sense of humor and excellent bed side manner. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mattson was great! He made me very comfortable and relaxed. Being "put under" is typically a pretty scarey thing for me- I get nervous and anxious. Dr. Mattson had a great sense of humor and helped me forget about my anxiety. He even came to my room & checked on me a couple of days after surgery. Wonderful doctor and kind heart!
