I don't even know where to start. I am very picky, and never leave comments, but in this case, I must speak out.
I had a front tooth filling repaired by 2 other dentists, and I had to have it redone multiple times, but the repair kept falling off, and at the worst possible times. Then I was referred by a friend to Dr Starr (the son). What an AMAZING job he did! I am very picky, and when he held the mirror up, I couldn't believe it...perfect color, perfect sheen, perfect length...it was better than my original tooth! I'm going on 2 months now, biting into everything, and a tooth I was told by other dentists needed a crown, well, Dr Starr saved it.
I cannot say enough, I am so happy with his skill. And for the cherry on top, he has great bedside manner as well, as does all his staff. I am so happy I found my lifetime dentist. THANK YOU Dr Starr! The Universe picked the right name for you!

While I knew you would retire at some point, I was hoping it would be much later! However, I would not deny you the privilege of retirement, it is a wonderful thing! I became your patient in the early 90's before I retired in October of 1994, referred by my boss. Your patience and conservative dentistry has been such a blessing to my husband and me. A short 45 minute drive from our home in Pahokee to your office was never a chore because we knew we were going to a friendly place where excellence abounds. By conservative, I mean that no expensive procedure was done without consultation and leaving the decision up to us. We weren't ever 'sold' a procedure, it was our decision. We trust that will remain the way Starr Family Dentistry does business.
May God bless you and your family immensely and may you remain healthy and strong for many years to come. We will miss you terribly!

I have been a patient of Dr. Starr for more than 25 years. My former boss referred me to him and I've never looked back! He and his staff are beyond wonderful. I have no dental insurance but they treat me anyway and allow me to pay as I am able. Dr. Mike is a chip off the old block! He is also kind and caring and, although I see his Dad , I am not as worried about his eventual retirement (if he ever does!). Dr. Starr has been available even on a Sunday because of an emergency. I can't recommend him and his staff highly enough. God bless you, Dr. Starr!

This was my first visit. I came in for a filling replacement. Dr Mike was the best. I asked if they used nitrous and the answer was no. I did feel comfortable and Dr. Mike asked if I would like to try. I said yes and if I wasn’t a good patient he can throw me out. Well I have to tell you my experience was the greatest one of my life. I was not scared and my procedure went well. I have found my place with the Starr family. Thank you so much Dr. Mike and your staff 👍👍

Dr. Starr is wonderful! He takes time, explains everything thoroughly, and does not do unnecessary procedures. He has been around a long time in Wellington, and a lot of people recommend him when you ask for a good dentist. His hygienists are wonderful as well. He does not take any insurance, but they will be kind enough to submit billing to your insurance and bill you for the remaining balance. Can't recommend Dr. Starr highly enough!

Dr. Starr took a lot of time explaining what he saw on my x-rays, and took a conservative approach to filling cavities. He was very generous with his time. The office staff was very friendly and surroundings were pleasant and clean. (I especially like the continuous Hawaiian beach scenery playing on the TV!) I had heard about Dr. Starr from many different people, that he was the best in Wellington, and I can see why. It's obvious that he knows his profession well, and goes out of his way to make his patients feel informed and cared for. Our family has found a new dentist! Even though he is out-of-network for our insurance, they offered to bill the insurance, and bill us for the balance. This dentist is highly recommended.
