I am 59 years old and have been suffering from some obesity and gastric problems for over 10 years. Since I met Dr. Hardi, my problems have gone away. He knows his craft.

Dr. Hardi has been my Doctor for 8 years and is the kindest, most competent Doctor that I have ever used. He is an excellent diagnostician and cares about his patients. I don't understand the complaints people have written on this review..or what type of personality they are expecting from him. He knows his craft and CARES!

Highly recommend Dr Hardi and his staff. They actively listen, ask questions and consider what they say. This is by far the most competent GI I have ever seen, and although I have to travel to see him--he's worth it and so are any patient. Excellent care, very competent and knowledgeable.

I've met with him twice. So far, it's all been a matter of fact relationship. He's not my primary and if I had a problem with Hardi, I'd go to my primary and rip him a new a$$. But as I stated, Hardi has been cool and informed. My situation happened out of my control and he sincerely wants to help me...or so it seems. I've been to Dr's that were jerks...and this guy is not one of them. If I had something negative to say...it would be the Unionized administrative office workers. But that doesn't seem to change anywhere. I like the guy and I think I'll trust him with my life...until he proves me wrong..or I'm dead.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Robert Hardi was a very negative one. I went to him because I needed a colonoscopy. This was the first time I had this procedure & Dr. Hardi simply had one of the receptionists hand me a brochure which was inadequate & I had to do my own research online in order to prepare for the colonoscopy. I should add I had expressed concerns about the procedure when I met with Dr. Hardi & he ignored them. The day before the colonoscopy I followed all the instructions but I was having problems & I was basically left on my own. On the day of the colonoscopy, Dr. Hardi was late. During the colonoscopy, I was awake (conscious sedation)& felt some discomfort. Dr. Hardi seemed indifferent to my discomfort. I felt Dr. Robert Hardi did not care about me as a patient & was primarily interested in getting paid (e.g. numerous phone calls reminding me of the date of the appointment & that I would be charged if I did not show up)& avoiding a malpractice lawsuit.

Dr Hardi orders, quoted by Medicare as "unnecessary laboratory tests" like PSA bloodtest for oversized prostate ($130.59) or Lipid Panel Profile($189.29) twice within the same year at QuestDiagnostics. Also he speaks obscane language to me in Hungarian being myself a Hungarian born 81 years old retired musician. Insted of being a doctor he is a "gold digger".

Horrible Doctor! Also sent my endoscopy biopsy to a lab that does not except my insurance (after they were supposed to pre-authorize the fee). They are unwilling to work with me on this and are trying to bill me over $500.
