Dr. Khemka let me suffer an extreme ear infection for 3 months before referring me to an ear/nose/throat specialist. I had a bunch of fungus/infection in my ear from the first visit on the problem. He never took a culture or even mentioned flushing the stuff out. On two of my visits to him, I asked about an acidic ear drop since what was in my ear appeared to be mold/fungus and he just dismissed the idea as though it was ignorant. Guess what, after spending over $1000.00 on all sorts of other meds and even an unnecessary CT scan, I finally saw the ENT and he prescribed a $10 BOTTLE OF ACIDIC EAR DROP that cleared it up in days. I was really impressed with Dr. Khemka with my first couple of visits, but when it came down to something more that a check-up I am anything but impressed.

I have had a stroke and have high cholesterol and am concerned. Dr. Khemka refuses to order tests for this although I had my insurance company contact him to prove they would allow and pay for the tets as I am a high-risk cardiac patient. He still refuses. Totally adversarial. I get my own tests at Walgreens, only because it's so difficult to find another doctor accepting new patients. I've been trying for over a year to find someone else. Khemka orders MRI and CT and other imaging tests and I never learn of the result.

I went in with a broken hand that I thought was just bruised but the pain was unbearable. He wouldn't give me anything for the pain. I even offered to call my pharmacy to assure him I wasn't a "seeker" and had not had a pain script in 9 years. Nope. He said he was worried to. What's the world coming to?

Have been seeing Dr. Khemka for a year, 5 visits. I am looking for another doctor, one who doesn't make me wait over an hour to be rushed out. My heart problems are severe, too severe to be treated like this.

Understood my concern about my blood pressure. I'm 84, and he didn't dismiss my concern about medications, ordered the most thorough tests I have ever had, asked questions, checked my vitals himself, AND remembered my name. A dream of a doctor.

THIS DOCTOR IS AN EXCELLENT TRIAGE DOCTOR, ZIP ZIP ZAP. HE IS SUPPOSE TO BE AN INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN AND THAT IS A CUT ABOVE JUST AN M.D. BUT HE WILL NOT PUT HIM SELF OUT, AS FOR AS WRITING YOUR PRESCRIPTION, NO NO YOUR OTHER SPECIALIST HAVE TO WRITE THEM. I'M BEGINNING TO REALIZE I REALLY DON'T NEED THIS DOCTOR, I CAN DO MY OWN TRIAGE. WELL I GUESS IF YOUR A DO NOTHING YOU FINELY DO NOTHING YOUR SELF RIGHT OUT OF THE JOB, WHEN OTHER DOCTORS CAN FILL YOUR SHOES. HE GIVES ME THE IMPRESSION HE IS SCARED TO MAKE A DECISION ABOUT YOUR CARE. EVEN A SMALL ONE,LIKE WRITING A SUBSCRIPTION THAT NEEDS TO BE REFILLED HE MAKES APPOINTS FOR YOU WILL DOCTORS IN HIS GROUP WITH OUT ASKING YOU IF IT'S OKAY, IT IS LIKE, SOME ONE ELSE NEED TO MAKE ALL YOUR DECISION. TRUTHFULLY, I'VE NEVER SEEN OR BEEN TO A DOCTOR QUITE LIKE HIM

Dr. Khemka was referred to me by a friend. I found he was thorough and after my lab work results were in, he went through each and every one of the items from the lab with me. He explained the medicines I needed to take. He gave discount drug cards for certain prescriptions to save me money. I am a diabetic and he has helped me with this. He is nice and knowledgeable. I am not always impressed with the front desk clerical as sometimes they appear short and rude but I try to understand they are busy. I have now recommended him to others.

Two qualities of Dr. Khemka, 1) He cares about the health of patients. 2) He is extremely knowledgeable. His manner is a little hurried and abrupt, not perfectly punctilious, but he has a good sense of humor. I don't feel that his rates, insurance use, cost in general are out of line with what one would expect.

I found him courteous and very thorough. He took time and asked if I had any questions. I felt at ease and had the impression that he really cared. He seems to have a passion for his profession and I walked away with a good feeling with the patient-doctor relationship.
