Kind is not a word I would associate with Dr. Nelson. She could be a great doctor, but she doesn't make you feel welcome. She is very judgemental and very quick to blame you for everything you did or didn't do. As a parent of a sick child, this is the last thing you want to hear as you are already feeling awful.

when i was younger Dr. Nelson literally saved my life. I saw just about every doctor in the practice, and each of them had the same conclusion; that I either had a cold or a virus. Well, they were all very wrong. I saw Dr. Nelson for the first time, which led to me continuing to see her as my doctor each time I returned to the office. She suggested my mom take me over to the lab to have x-rays taken of my chest to see if i had fluid in my lungs, or an enlarged spleen. Turns out I had both of these along with a 105 fever. I had i terrible case of Mono and was restricted to staying in bed and being home-schooled for nearly 3 months my sophomore year of high school. If they did not catch the fact that my lungs were filling with fluid, who knows. I may not be alive today. Dr. Nelson is the best! LITERALLY a life savor. This was when I was about 16 years old. I am now 21

Dr.Nelson is very kind and helpful. My daughter has gone there for years. When she was little she used to say "DrNelson loves me" I do believe she right. Always listens, not quick to whip out a RX just to shut me up. She has taught med school and is a pilot, she is a very intelligent and knowledgeable dr. The staff could use some work-older women talking away and I have even heard a nurse swear- not the best in front of kids. Other drs are also good, except Dr.Charles, who's "lovey" attitude is all about money. DrNelson is sincere.

This old witch should retire decades ago! Please go to anyone else in this office if you have to go to this office. 75% of stuff rude and will give you attitude, there is maybe one nice front desk lady. I'm considering going somewhere else and come back when she's gone. When we joined the practice years ago, there were 7 doctors in the practice, now there are maybe 3 left. There must be a reason for it.

Best pediatrician in the area. We have been going to her for years. Staff is wonderful and lovely to deal with. Dr. Nelson is very considerate and makes her patients feel extremely comfortable. She is a great, knowledgable doctor, and although it may take a little longer in the waiting room, she is worth the wait.
