Extremely rude person, not only with my but with everyone around her. That is all I can say about my experience with Dr. Montz.

Rude, mean, greedy, egotistical, and uncompassionate. Bragged about her speed record for hysterectomies while I'm being wheeled int the OR. Demanded payment on a bill that I had already paid and sent to her. She called me a liar. Weeks later she sent back the duplicate check.
She left me waiting 20 minutes with a full bladder for an ultrasound, and when I couldn't wait anymore she screamed at me. After my hysterectomy, I rested, but because I'm a teacher, I had to go to school to drop off lesson plans twice after surgery. I was still in pain after a week because I had been busier than I should be. I asked for two more pain pills and she came unglued

Still waiting for a reimbursement check from this office from an appointment in February...I paid out of pocket and they were reimbursed from Blue Shield immediately. They keep telling me they are "researching" the "lost check" they mailed to me...really? Very disappointed and frustrated.

I would never recommend this doctor! She delivered my son in 1994 in Cleveland, Ohio by default because my doctor was out of the country in Europe. She was EXTREMELY RUDE, NEVER SPOKE TO ME EXCEPT TO SCOLD ME, DID AN AWFUL JOB SEWING ME BACK UP AND CAUSED ME EXTREME PAIN WHEN DOING THE AFTERBIRTH. Her bedside manners are HORRIBLE, she never once smiled during the delivery. My doctor retired to California and I see this is where she is practicing. Please, heed all these comments, they are the truth, we have nothing to gain from them. Of all these comments there is only one, what does that tell you. Sharing this with you so that you do not have the same experience I/we have had. Enjoy your pregnancy, it's a wonderful experience and so should your delivery!

IS THERE A NEGATIVE STAR REVIEW??
The worst doctor I have ever met/had!!! I didn't have much of a choice (because of insurance issues) when I got her as my doctor at 8 months. But everything the other 2 reviews say are dead on! She is a horrible, rude, insensitive, bit*# who needs to retire. For my first child/pregnancy the experience was anything BUT wonderful. There is nothing good I can say about this woman and more people need to know! DO NOT HAVE HER AS YOUR OB/GYN!!!

The Worst on the face of the planet! Very Rude! Seems to think the world resolves around her, she is to busy thinking of herself to even think of others. Please someone please fire this woman!

She is rude, unprofessional and mean. Will never go back to her again and I tell everyone I know to stay away from her. I'm not sure why she is a doctor, clearly she hates people.

The coldest dr I've ever encountered. Doesn't explain things even when asked. Made me wait way too long even when she was present and I was the first patient booked and no other patients were there. Frightened me by telling me that I had a high risk of cancer b/c of the conidition she diagnosed but wouldn't give me details of what I should look for or try to do to avoid. Foolishly I went there 3 times over 18 months, (first 2 visits wre for routine pap smear) and each time paid knowing I should be reimbursed. Insurance sent checks to her office each time and I had a problem getting Montz's office to forward my money to me. Had I never phoned they would have have kept my money. I will NEVER return. My next appmnt is with a different dr and I'm curious what she will have to say as I'm not convinced Montz made a correct diagnosis.

I went to Dr. Montz after having questionable ultrasounds. At first she said I needed a hysterectomy and had me return for a biopsy. I waited 2 weeks for the results and was asked to come in. When I came in the entire medical plan had changed. No hysterectomy, put me on progesterone and ignored all the presenting symptoms.I am postmenopausal, should not have bleeding and therefore it is not normal. I called her office as I had severe bleeding again. I was told to come in the next day for an exam. Waited 1 hour in the waiting room, finally brought to an exam room and told to get undressed. Dr. Montz comes in a half hour later. No exam and told to stop taking the meds she prescribed. I took off work so I could give her a copay and be told in person to get off the meds. Needless to say this could have been told to me over the phone. I will not go back to her. It was not in her financial interest to do surgery therefore it is all about lip service. She could care less about the patient.
