I went in for a gyn exam. I am in my 60's and she is the ONLY dr who ever caused me pain and made me bleed. After saying she accepted Blue cross assignment, I got a hefty bill. Since then, I have heard horror stories about her. The "mistakes" she has made surgically on some of her patients should disqualify her from practicing.

I cannot even express how much I dislike Dr Montz. I have limited provider choices for my insurance plan and chose her and then was "stuck" with her for the remainder of my pregnancy and delivery. She was horribly rude and insensitive to me and my husband. I feel my visits and labor were just wasting her time, judging by the way she acted. She would sigh dramatically and roll her eyes at my questions, act as though I'm faking the horrible pains I was having at the end of the pregnancy (pains which did turn out to be an actual condition for which I had to be taken off of work!). She was late in getting to the hospital to actually deliver the baby! I was waiting IN PAIN for her to come in and SLOWLY prepare herself for the delivery. I would NOT recommend her to ANYONE. I do not know why she is even practicing medicine since she obviously doesn't enjoy it or her patients. Such a bad experience for what should have been a wonderful even in our lives. :(

This was the worst doctor I have ever been to. She recommended a dnc for polyps I had in my uterus. I hope she did the surgery because I never saw her... She was late and left before I woke up in a recovery room. Due to constant bleeding I became extremely anemic. She'd make me come in, pay the copay, get my blood work done, pay the copay again so she can tell me I am anemic.. Every three weeks. When I went back after my surgery and told her that i am still bleeding, her response was " i didn't make a mistake"... After that I went to a different doctor and had the surgery again that was successful. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I can deal with rudeness and no nonsense approach but not with incompetence

I went to Dr. Montz for a surgery several years ago, she recommended surgery. I guess she did my surgery, I never saw her. She was very late and the nurses were agravated. I saw her, in her office in 2012. She was wearing a sequenced top and had on SO much perfume that I felt nauseated. She was short with answers to my questions, rude and seemed to be in a hurry after I waited for her for 45 minutes. I give her a big fat F!!

By far the WORST doctor I have ever seen. I NEVER post on rating websites, but I want to make sure that nobody else has the same miserable experience that I had. The previous posting is absolutely correct: This doctor is, indeed, mean, inappropriate, and insulting. I am not naive enough to assume that poor bedside manners are indicative of incompetence, however, this doctor also fed me a series of misinformation. After having a second opinion, I discovered that her recommendations were completely inadequate and overly aggressive. Please take heed...DO NOT select Ms. Montz as your doctor. No one deserves to be patronized and looked down upon at the doctor's office. (As a side note, the office staff is extremely courteous and professional).

Dr. Montz is a wonderful doctor. She has been my doctor for 3 surgeries. Nurses at hospitals have said if they ever need to have surgery, this is the Doctor they want. What does that tell you when people who work in hospitals trust her? Nurses make judgments based on what they see. The women writing the nasty comments sound extremely needy. If you take the time to write nasty comments, then you are probably the type of person who is always in a negative world. Do you thihk you are "special" just because you are pregnant. A bunch of cry babies.

Dr. Montz has been my OBGYN for 10+ years. I like her. She is a no nonsense doctor. She has always taken the time to answer any and all of my questions when I have had concerns. Yes, her bedside manner is probably abrupt, but I have always felt she was very thorough. If you are having your first baby and need a lot of hand holding and pampering, perhaps she would not be the doctor for you. If you are looking for straight forward answers to your questions without the sugar coating she would be good for you. She is a very good doctor and after reading the previously written reviews decided to tell my experiences with her.

I can honestly say, this doctor is just plain Mean. I leave there feeling that not only does she not care about me or my pregnancy, I actually wasted HER time and I should owe her a debt of gratitude she even saw me...Her answers are short and abrupt. She makes you feel stupid for even asking. and you still leave there as unsure as when you walked in. There is not an ounce of care in her tone, approach or diagnosis. I have no idea how she has stayed in practice for so long, but i can tell you, you are wasting your energy, emotions and time even going in for one visit. Worst doctor I have ever had in my life.

Dr Montz did my pregnancy and delivery and I would NEVER recommend her to anyone for any reason. She was continually rude to me and my husband at visits. Was late getting to the hospital for my delivery and acted as though the entire thing was an inconvience to her. She had a terrible bedside manner and I truly felt as though she didn't care about me or my health at all. I do not recommend her at all.

She did not detect a tumor the size of an apple in my ovaries, which another doctor found a week after she had given me a complete examine where she had determined that everything was fine.
