Dr. Meylor is the best chiropractor I have ever had. He has helped me greatly in handling my arthritis. Under his care and guidance I have been able to improve my posture, balance, mobility and flexibility. My over-all health has also improved. I live with an ongoing heart ailment that no longer controls my life. I sleep better, breathe more freely and deeply, and am in better condition in my seventies that I was when in my forties. Shout outs also to Amber and Nora, Dr. Meylor's always helpful and supportive clinical assistants.

I started seeing Dr. Meylor about a month ago. My back was in terrible shape. My ability to work and play was severely compromised. Dr. Meylor told me that my condition was complicated and would take some time, but he could help me. As i sit here writing this I have less pain in my back than i have had in many years. It is amazing how ones outlook on life gets much better when they are not in chronic pain all the time. I highly recommend Dr. Meylor

I first started going to Dr. Meylor a few years ago for shoulder issues (3 surgeries from sports related injuries) that he was able to fully take care of in a couple of visits. I continued seeing Dr. Meylor for periodic adjustments.

It was during one of these visits that I over-heard another patient saying that he sees Dr. Meylor on a regular basis to address his problem with acid reflux. Having been an acid reflux sufferer for most of my life, I asked Dr Meylor about this. He said he felt that he could in fact help.

Being someone who struggled with this problem for almost 50 years I was somewhat skeptical. Although he had solved my shoulder issues and given me full range of movement in my right should for the first time in 40 years, I was still not convinced.

Amazingly after just one adjustment, the symptoms totally disappeared! I would normally drink between 1 and 2 bottles of antacid a week. I made no other change to my diet or lifestyle. It has been almost 3 months now without any symptoms whatsoever.

Not an issue I would think of going to a chiropractor for, but I’m glad I did.

I suffered from vertigo to the point of not being able to work, drive, or get out of bed. I went to 4 doctors for vertigo treatment, the last of which was nationally renowned for working with dizzy patients. I had multiple xrays, MRIs, and CT scans, all of which were "normal" even though my vertigo symptoms continued to get worse. Later, I learned that radiologists and chiropractors read xrays very, very differently. To a radiologist, my xrays were 'normal' because my vertebrae weren't so out of alignment to warrant conventional treatment like surgery. However, to Dr. Meylor's trained eye, my misaligned vertebrae were in fact causing my vertigo symptoms, and he was right. If you have been told, "there's nothing else to do", regardless of what chronic symptom you have, from pain, to hiccups, to headaches, to vertigo, please call his office and talk to him! He is honest, empathetic, and knowledgeable.

I have acid reflux and I was on TWO Nexium(40mg) a day for 10+ years and if I missed ONE, my throat felt like it was on fire. One month after being adjusted, I'm down to ONE Prilosec(20mg) per day. I'm positive that I won't have to take any!! I also have had migraines since middle school and TMJ which Dr. Meylor adjusts me for. I can not imagine my life without Chiropractic anymore!!! It is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me! One more thing, I haven't missed one day of work since starting adjustments!! I feel the best I've ever felt physically!!!! Thank you Dr. Meylor!!

Dr. Meylor is the typical stereotype of what's wrong with Chiropractors. He'll sit you down on his bed, crack your back, mumble something to you about Subluxations, and then send you on your way. The only time he really seems present and paying attention is when Meylor lingers behind you to make sure that you are going to make another appointment to see him that week. He'll take credit if you feel better, and no blame if you do not. I think he actually believes the Chiro lifestyle hype, but the sad thing is that he lets ignorant patients (like myself), who are in pain, believe that he's a real doctor, and that Chiropracty is a real form of treatment. So yeah, if you are a true believer in Chiropractic, then you'll probably love this guy, because he'll crack your back, tell you he's making a difference, and send you on your way within 10 minutes.

I went to Dr. Meylor unable to stand up straight and barely able to walk do to lower back pain. I walked out feeling better the first day and with the continued adjustments over the next few weeks I felt better then I had in a long time. Dr. Meylor was great through the whole process and the staff was helpful even with some minor insurance issues.

I've been a patient of Dr. Meylor for over 15 years, I could barely walk in the door and had been told I would need surgery on my back. Dr. Meylor gave me my life (and my career) back and I have been going to him ever since for routine adjustments ever since. He is a wonderful person and well as a knowledgable and compassionate (and gentle) Chiropractor. His office staff is friendly and the office is always full of HAPPY PATIENTS!! I would highly recommend Dr Dean Meylor to anyone who is seeking the best Chiropractic care in Greensboro. I would especially recommend him to people who, for whatever reason, are afraid of Chiropractic adjustments...you will be surprised at how gentle the procedure really is.
