Dr. ronel was awesome. He was hours away but always responded to communication. He may not have spent a lot of post op time in the surg. center, but what doctor does? I did develop a wound secondary to vicryl sensitivity and through emailed photos, Dr. Ronel was able to work me in to his schedule, irrigated my wound and treated me with extreme care and patience. The next day, the wound was almost completely healed. My down time was only 5 days as I healed quickly and only had pain the first day/drive home. I did not even need the pain meds after the first day. I did not give him a perfect punctuality rating only because he ran a lil late for my appointment, but he did call and inform the staff all the way until he arrived. It was not anything he could have expected as it was due to another patient. I think he is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone!

I recently had my B/A with Dr. Ronel and LETS JUST SAY I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY with the results! I am glad I just found this site and not before my BA or I would have freaked out and probably would have canceled. He answered EVERY single e-mail within a couple of hours (even around 1am) and his staff worked around my schedule. He doesn't spend as much time talking to you during the pre-ops/appts BUT he spends a lot of time e-mailing you/phone calls. I traveled 3.5 hours and he was worth EVERY second of it. I contacted four plastic surgeons in the Lubbock/Amarillo area and then Dr. Ronel. One of the plastic surgeons in Lubbock got back to me the day AFTER my surgery (3 weeks after I contacted him) and the others NEVER DID. I am extremely happy with Dr. Ronel's "art" on my body =) I HIGHLY recommend him!

I am happy I decided not to go with Dr. Ronel. He's a bit more expensive than the other docs I visited. While he is a very nice man and does a great job 'selling' the service, I heard he has a high infection rate. I did not want to take that chance. His office is very nice though and his staff are all very kind.

Dr. Ronel and his staff are dedicated to their patients. I knocked the "knowledgeable" down to a 4 because one of the surgeries performed on me didn't heal well, and maybe it should have been handled differently. However, it may not be the doc's fault at all, there is some percentage of these that don't heal too well. Dr. Ronel stuck by me and worked with me until the problems were resolved.

I have had plastic surgery in Beverly Hills California and in Santa Fe. Dr. Ronel's artistic talent exceeded my expectations. I had better results with him than with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who is on the TV show "Doctor 90210." I had three procedures with Dr. Ronel and now look better than I did in my 20s. I am 53 and am told I look like I am in late 20s or early 30s. Healing time is shorter than with other doctors, most likely due to the special and alternative medicines.

Dr. Ronel is a GOD. I am from NYC and I went to him bec a very picky friend of mine had her face and boobs done by him and was beyond thrilled. I had him do a full makeover on me from head to toe and he put me at ease, was patient with me, listened to me, called me to check on me and when I was with him I felt like I was the only person alive bec he focused so much on me. He put me up in a sweet B&B with an on call RN. He made house calls to me, too. The results I got are unreal. He is an artist. I look like I did before I had children, got divorced, etc. Even better. I told all my friends about him bec we get the same results we would on the coasts right in NM and for a fraction of the cots. If I did what I did in NY I'd have spent 50,000$ easily. I recommend him wholeheartedly. He's not bad to look at either!

Dr. Ronel is an artist. His technical skill is remarkable, and the friendly rapport he establishes with his patients goes a long way toward making difficult procedures easy to endure. I have been treated by him for the past year; he performed my post-mastectomy reconstruction. I attribute much of my success in reaching this point to his patience, kindness, and gentle friendship. He made me feel like a princess whenever I came to his office, and that is something for which I will always be grateful. His office staff are just about as wonderful as he is. Dr. Ronel, while he is a very busy man, always tried his hardest to make sure I understood everything that was happening to me. He even called me on weekends and holidays from his home--I could hear his children playing in the background. This is something rare in this world, and I will never forget Dr. Ronel for his wonderful kindness and consdideration. Molly Payne, Albuquerque, NM.
