I was referred to Dr Shames by my vascular Dr in Cape Coral FL. Due to an 80% blockage in my proximal aorta.
My first contact with Dr Shames was by phone after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Dr Shames didnt seem very prepared to help me.
An appointment was made for Feb15th to drive 2 hours to meet with Dr. Shames, after I ran around to get all testing done, that Dr Shames needed me to do.
I called Dr Shames nurce after all test were completed and She was to get everything sent to Dr Shames.
On Friday Feb 12th , after waiting two days for a return call from Dr Shames nurce, I learned that she never recived my test results or images needed for Dr. Shames to discuss my surgery with me on the 15th. I would h as ve driven 2 hours for this apppint for nothing had I not double checked to see that everything need would be there.
Very upset and disappointed with this Dr and staff.

A BUTCHER! I underwent a leg surgery that took MONTHS to heal and left me terribley scarred. I now ALSO have a permanent nerve damage due to his incompetence including a stiffness and burning sensation 24-7! He never even bothered to discuss this with me. I was incompassitated for months and had to learn to walk all over again. The surgical incision took almost two months to heal! It was a painful horrible experience that took MUCH MUCH longer to heal that a previous major heart surgery. No compassion - No concern . A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
