no judicious care here! Nothing is done in a timely fashion and you have to beg to secure test results!!!

I am extremely displeased with the staff at Dr. Ronnen office at J2 Brier Hill Court, New Brunswick, NJ. I was given the run around over the phone, being transferred to several different staff and had to give my situation to each new person I spoke to. The front desk receptionist, E.B. was very rude and unhelpful.

She is doing more for me and getting better results than the doctors at the big cancer hospital thought could be possible. Dr. Ronnen is kind, caring and knowledgeable. Some of the staff could use some training about privacy issues. Overall I am very pleased with my care,

I met Dr. Ronnen in the hospital during what ended up being a family member's final days. She kept digressing into things that had absolutely nothing to do with his care (I really don't care that your colleagues think you're the nicest person in the office, honestly), and if you try to refocus her on the patient she'll talk over you. I'm not sure whether it's inexperience or incompetence but she modified the treatment plan multiple times without informing us, and chose to mislead us and be avoidant instead of telling us that things were worsening. Bottom line - you want a doctor when you're facing cancer, not a cheerleader. I'd trust her to babysit my kid but not to diagnosis and treat my loved one in a responsible manner.

My sister was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer July 10, 2011 while living in California. Her diagnosis was devastating to my sister and our family as a whole. Being from the NJ area, my sister wanted to return back home and live out what remaining time she had left and so we searched oncologists in the central jersey area and came across dr ronnen. I feel it was a blessing to have had dr ronnen treat and take care of my sister for 19 months. My sister was given a life expectancy of 2 - 4 months but with Dr Ronnens expertise and treatment not only did my sister live past her the short expectancy she seemed to thrive against the odds of the lung cancer but also with brain mets and metatarsus in other areas of her body. Dr Ronnen and all the drs at central jersey oncology treated my sister with compassion, care, dignity and professionalism from the first time they treated her. My sister lost her battle with sclc on June 24, 2013 ... I am grateful to dr ronnen. She is and awesome dr

Met w/Dr. Ronnen on Thursday, 6/13/13 she was very knowledgeable and very sincere. She informed me of all the possibilities as to why I may be anemic but ensured that after looking at my test results that she would inform me (she would call be by no later than Tuesday, 6/18) as to what the next step would be. By Thursday, 6/20/13 I still had no information from Dr. Ronnen, so I called her office and left a message. Today, is Wednesday, 6/26 and still have not received any calls from Dr. Ronnen, whether it was to inform me as to where our next move would be or to return my phone call. I called again today, over 2 hours ago and still have no calls. So where is my satisfaction? Can I call my insurance company and inform them not to pay her?

Dr. Ronnen is very knowledgeable. Takes the time to go over everything, does not rush you out. She calls you at home with test results. Very nice.

Dr. Ronnen by herself is excellent, i found her knowledgable, caring, and open minded. The problem is that the "practice" has built such a wall between the doctos and patients it is impossible to communicate. The staff is lazy, rude, and visibly angry if they are asked to perform any additional testing. I have left the practice twice and can not even drive by w/o getting angry.

Dr. Ronnen is very prompt in letting you know your results from blood work and scans. I think that all the drs in that practice do things themselves. For example, she does not hesitate to contact a fellow dr and inquire more about a report or procedure. This is great because you're working directly with the dr and not a nurse who serves a messenger. At the same time, it can be a bit disconcerting at times since there is no point person to handle all the issues and you have address each issue (disability, appts) yourself separately. Sometimes things are not as clear cut in terms of the next steps because that's just the nature of the disease...certain things are contingent on the outcomes of results, etc, so you as a patient have to be on top of things. This is more of a critique of the staff. Dr. Ronnen has always been honest, compassionate and caring.
