I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Keyser. He removed some abscesses from my sons throat, which ended up being a horrible infection. The minute Dr. Keyser took over our care in the ER I felt relieved. He was extremely knowledgeable and took my sons health very seriously. He is not a doctor who will act like your best friend, but he is extremely capable and very detailed in the information he gives you. He brought my son a treat after his surgery. I found him to be very caring and an amazing doctor. He saved my son.

Dr. Keyser diagnosed me with a deviated septum before my mission and recommended surgery in 2005 that prevented me from getting health insurance for the past 15 years due to this preexisting condition. I wasn't able to get insurance until Medicaid expansion this year due to his diagnosis. Then when I was finally insured I went to him again this year because my primary care referred me to an ENT because he noticed it on the MRI. So I thought I'd finally get it fixed.

Dr. Keyser claimed my septum was "straight as an arrow". Despite suffering chronic breathing obstruction for the last 15 years, extreme snoring problems, sleep disturbances, sinus infections, and constantly having trouble breathing through my nose. Now he claims nothing can be done despite clear sinus obstruction on my MRI.

I explained this all to him but he flatly refused any treatment and claims my septum is fine.

I don't know what Dr. Keyser's problem is but he has poor patient care and is creating problems for his patients knowingly or not. I suspect that due to being on Medicaid he doesn't want to do the surgery because he won't get paid as much.

I know a lot of people think Dr. Keyser is unfriendly and even rude, but my experience with him was different. I had an accident and the right side of my face needed to be reconstructed. Dr. Keyser did an excellent job, to the point no one notices my injury at all, and it was just six months ago and severe. Also, I felt he cared about doing a really good job on making my face normal again, and he cared about how I felt in the process. He also has a good sense of humor if you take the time to talk with him. Though he's busy, and didn't have a lot of time of chit chat, I never felt like he wasn't willing to talk with me about my injury, or how it would/was affecting me. I think he's a great surgeon.

Doctor Keyser was the on-call doctor for dr. Bennion when I call after hours for some advice. I have never spoken to a medical professional that was so rude and so disrespectful. It was 11:10 and he was clearly very upset with me that I had called and woken him up. I cannot even begin to explain how horrible this doctor made me feel for calling in and looking for some simple advice. This man is definitely not someone that is looking to help his patients or patients of his fellow employees. After calling a second doctor, the advice that Dr Keyser gave me was very careless and quite useless.

I went to Dr. Keyser due to sever pain I was experiencing in my throat the mouth. He checked me briefly and said it was probably a sinus problem. My pain continued so I saw another ENT and was diagnosed with tongue and throat cancer. To say the least, I cannot recommend Dr. Keyser.

Dr. Keyser has done 2 surgeries on my husband. He doesn't have the best bed side manners but he knows his stuff. He runs a tight ship when in the OR. He took time to explain things to us. He doesn't talk in terms alot of people can't understand.

I have seen Dr Keyser several times for an enlarged thyroid with several nodules. I feel Dr Keyser is not willing to help unless you are willing to have surgery. My thyroid has been monitored and biopsies have been done and surgery isn't necessary right now. Whenever I go in for a visit he tells me where my levels should be to feel the best, but when it comes down to it, he's not willing to help me get to those levels. He tries his best to manipulate you and make you feel inferior to him. To be honest, i dread everyone of my appointments with him. Unfortunately he is the only ENT that my insurance will cover in my area. I will now drive 1-1/2 hours to see a different doctor because i am sick of the way he treats people and gets away with it. I have also taken my teenage son to him for oral and food allergies. My experience with my son was no different. If possible i would do everything to avoid Dr. Keyser! He is not a nice man.

I've seen this doctor twice and both visits were poor experiences. The first visit was for myself and the doctor seemed more interested in talking about his past athletic achievements than giving a proper diagnosis. He spent maybe two minutes looking at me and would not let me give a full history before basically telling me the problem was imaginary. The second visit was for my 4 year old son who was referred by the instacare. The doctor was rude and arrogant, we felt as though we were imposing on him and he accused us of causing the problem by trying to use qtips in our son's ears, something we had not done. He did seem knowledgeable but in each case his investigation and service was so poor that his knowledge was useless.
