I was kicked out of this practice in the middle of treatment by the billing team. They decided that my questions about the charges were too complicated for them to deal with. I was treated by Dr. L for at least 8 years and had NO problem paying for his expertise. His billing team continued to bully me to pay bills they couldn't explain, and told me they COULD NOT SEE ME, if I didn't pay. They reported to the Doctor it was me missing appoints, no shows.... (NOT TRUE). When your eye is being treated to prevent blindness, it is safe to say you adhere to your appointments. Anyway, I miss Dr. L, but I am being treated by a great expert who is fantastic, so now it is time to report Dr. L horrible billing team who I have heard, many left or were kicked out by them. thank you

My experience is similar to others. Just had appointment and was told dr was running 1 1/2 hrs behind. I asked if we could be rescheduled and receptionists response was abrupt and rude. Then we let receptionist know we were going to leave and come back in an hour and again we were given an abrupt rude response. Seems staff doesn't handle the stress of an over burdened office well either. We were there for 2 3/4 hrs. So sad to watch these elderly patients (wheelchairs & walkers) being shuffled around like cattle. The practice may have very good drs but treatment also consists of how long a patient or family member sits and waits and I find this office unacceptable in this regard. For goodness sake find a better system and show more respect to your patients. After all , they are the reason your practice is in business.

I have yet to go to an appointment whTere he isn't running behind by 1.5 or more hours.
The least the office could do is contact the patient about the delay. What good does finding out about the delay after you have checked in? I am always told it is due to "emergencies". Every time? Really? The option of rescheduling is no great consolation when the only appointment is a month later. As many of the patients require someone to drive them, it is a delay for both people. I find Dr. Listhaus to be a bit patronizing when speaking to the patient. (my mother-in-law). He also seems to rush you through the appointment. Very inconsiderate of patients' time.

Practice seems similar to other doctor I used. Wait times to see the doctor can be long. The time actually spent with the doctor is very short. Very little discussion about results and treatment options along with issues related to them. The doctor seems knowledgeable but I like to understand more than he is providing. Have not had a problem with the staff. They are generally very helpful. That may be necessary in order to make up for lack of time with the doctor.

While Dr Listhaus himself is very knowledgeable and helpful ... This practice is very unfriendly .. my daughter has been going here for several years with ongoing eye issue .. when this issue recently reoccurred the staff told her that the Dr will not see here because she had a balance of $120 .. (this was unknown to her) once that was cleared up they then refused to see her because she had not paid her bill on time ... is this the future of Health Care in America ?

Very disappoint with Dr Listhaus and how my condition has been handled. I had Vitrectomy surgery in July & unfortunately my story does not have a happy ending. I knew going in to the surgery that there were risk, and I knew that things were not very good once my gas bottle cleared. However Dr Listhaus has been very vague as to the condition of my eye. I expresses to the Doctor that my vision was still very blurry even since the gas bubble desolved. He suggested that I get my eyes examined for a new pair of eyeglass. He also informed me that the pressure in my eye was too high & asked if Glagoma ran in my family. I really needed to know what the condition of my eye was, so I've just recently sort the opinion of another Doctor who specializes in macular hole condition. I now know that I have permanent optic nerve damage and glacoma. I would have really appreciated a little more honesty from Dr Listhaus.

Dr. Listhaus is an excellent and caring doctor. He saved my 30 year old husband from losing his vision due to retinal detachment just months before our first child was born. Thanks to this skilled doctor, four years later, my husband is happily watching our two beautiful daughters grow up. We highly recommend Dr. Listhaus.

Be prepared for your visit to be about 2 hours of waiting time and 2 minutes with the doctor. The couple of times we have gone to see this doctor, the office is VERY packed and the staff is unfriendly. When you finally get called in to see the doctor, he rushes you which makes you forget to ask questions. It then takes a couple of months for this doctor to order tests, tests of which have not been discussed at your appointment. Not happy with the type of service we have been given.
