Will not return any calls. Tried to discharge my child even though he was still suicidal just because I asked to speak with her.

This so-called doctor just discharged me from her patient list because I insisted on withdrawing from Cymbalta. This lady became frustrated when I made this request. She gave me a prescription to leave with but ABSOLUTELY NO advice on how to withdraw. She even said Cymbalta Discontinuation Syndrome did not exist and there would be no problems withdrawing from Cymbalta. My third to last appointment she compared the side effects I was experiencing from Cymbalta as my "imagination". "Wow, [my name] you have a wild imagination!" (word by word) I felt very uncomfortable during her appointments. She would only write the prescription, listen to my concerns, insult me by saying my intrusive thoughts and restless leg syndrome was something I "should work on". She completely dismissed all my concerns, waving them away with the pen on her desk. She repeatedly argued that I should stay on the medicine when I cannot! (The side effects were made very clear to her!)

She threatened me with admission to an inpatient hospital program when I told her I was having suicidal thoughts (a very unfortunate side effect of antidepressants). I told her I was living life well. I started exercising. I was starting my second semester of college and I was living life well. She dismissed my progress as well.

Her office lady is VERY nice! I feel very sad that such a nice, young lady is working for an extremely rude "doctor". Please stay away from this psychiatrist! She made me cry at home because of her rudeness. Never have I been insulted by a person who is supposed to work with me to help me recover from my depression.

She will NOT help you! She left me with emotional scars instead. Do yourself a favor and look for another psychiatrist! There are thousands better than her. Just like there are thousands of people as evil and rude as her.

I admitted myself into the hospital because I was suicidal. When I felt I was ready to go home she threatened to send me to Wichita falls. I got no therapy but a little group. Now I still need help and I am terrified to trust another doctor. This woman should not practice any kind of medicine. I feel bad for others that have and will be her victim.

Dr Khan is not very patient oriented. She flat out told my daughter she doesn't believe her. She also caused my son to refuse to take any meds to treat his condition at all.

Dr. Kahn does not seem very knowledgeable about adult ADHD and in fact seems to doubt it's existence(in adults) as well as the efficacy of some of the medications for it. She told me that my problem was more likely due to anxiety than adhd....I was stunned. Those are two different issues.
