Biography
Born and raised in Sweden, Dr. Lars Lundgren joined Children’s Health Care in 1992. Board certified in pediatrics, he graduated from the Karolinska Institute Medical School in 1989. Dr. Lundgren and his family moved to New England where he completed his pediatric residency at Boston City Hospital from 1989 to 1992. The Mass Hospital School provides medical, rehabilitative, educational, and vocational services to children and young adults with multiple disabilities. Dr. Lundgren is the physician for the Newburyport Public Schools, and the consulting physician to both the Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH, and the Solstice Day School in Ipswich, MA. He is remarried to his partner, Michael, and has increased his family with two sons, Andrew and William.
