I am 4 weeks out from back surgery. I could not have had a better surgeon, and believe me I’ve seen a lot of doctors to fix my back. I can already tell my surgery is a success. I still have a long way to go, but I already feel like I will be able to have my life back. I am following my post-op instructions to a T, and I look forward to a future of physical strength and activity. I am incredibly thankful that Dr.Wahl did my back surgery. I asked if he would be retiring soon and he said, no, he “loves” being a surgeon. He’s outstanding. Thank you Dr. Wahl!

In 2014 spinal fusion was suggested and done. Apparently, after a year the fusion had been completed and was supposed to be healed. Not the case! Another MRI revealed some of hardware was putting pressure on a nerve. Leg pain still severe. Suggestion was to remove hardware. To make a long short , hardware was removed for the exception of1 rod. Still in extreme pain and only saw the twice in more than 2years . He then says he can't help me any longer and look for another Dr. but have been refused to be seen.

I went to Dr Wahl when I had back and sciatic pain down my right leg, at first he said he would do Minimal Invasive surgery then I started seeing his NP and for the next yr I had a minor surgery to loose the sciatic nerve..didn't work then it was therapy, Pain Management Dr for steroid shots etc, none of it worked and he just kept putting me off on the surgery finally the NP, he wouldn't even give me pain drugs, told me to get them from my Primary Dr. Finaly I gave up and talked to my Primary to refer me to someone else and he sent me to Dr David Yam in Walla Wall, saw my MRI and had surgery the next month. I wasted 1 whole year in pain and paying his high fees and got nothing in return. I would never refer anyone to him, I think I saw him about 2hrs total out of all the visits I had.

response to comment below. my wife had adr surgery with dr wahl that failed. she continued to be in pain from right after surgery until she finally got the disk out. we told the dr and nurse she still was hurting but they also acted like all she wanted was more meds. so she finally went to pain management for help. come to find out the add disc never set it was just floating around in her neck. dr was very apologetic for the pain she was in but it doesn't change the way they treated her. now looks like repair(fusion) didn't work either. she won't be back. also good luck seeing doctor after surgery they make you see his PA that is rude.

Had neck surgery but pain came back. He treated me like a drug seeker and dismissed it. Fell recently and ER said they were surprised I didn't break my neck. The other disc's have NO cushioning. Have been dealing with this for 7 years now because I felt so ashamed. We'll the shame is on him

My husband was a bit scared about his upcoming neck surgery; after speaking with Dr. Wahl he felt comfortable and at ease on his ability to perform a good job. He did an excellent job on his neck surgery and my husband is recovering remarkably well.

The one thing i want to say about Dr. Wahl is he is Honest and u don't find that anymore, and its not just about the mighty old buck either so 10+ dr Wahl kim yakima
