The negligence cost my baby life
Dr. Lewis has been monitoring my pregnancy for the past few weeks. I live with diabetes, my baby was a big baby weighing 10.5 pounds and I never scheduled a C-section and I was worried and I told him that everything was fine that until the 40th week I was going to induce the birth, I remember I told him if I was gonna grow any bigger and he said yes but everything’s fine. March 7, 2022 was the most terrible day of my life.I suffered the greatest pain of my life because my baby died, his shoulders stuck and never came out was impossible with a baby that weighed 13 pounds, my baby suffocated from his bad practices and my never heard me at the time I begged him for a C-section, I asked him for help, I never had anesthesia. He hurt me too much. This could have been avoided if he had acted like a good doctor and listened to me. He ruined my life forever

Dr. Lewis is fine doc. His staff, however, is awful. Were not friendly upon my arrival. I gave the wrong insurance card and when I corrected my mistake, the manager was brought up to threaten me by saying she will 'come after me for every penny'. I had no idea what she was talking about but was made SO uncomfortable by her attitude that I left immediately. Never saw the doctor. I have not received an apology or explanation as to why she felt the need to come at me this way. I will never return to that office again.

Very knowledgeable, listens to concerns more than lots of other docs. Wish he worked out of a different office with different staff.

At 26 weeks pregnant I had a bad experience with this doctor and will never return to him. I went in to the office complaining about a sharp lower pain and began feeling cramp like contractions. They sent me home saying nothing was wrong. The next day I called into the nurse who told me to go to the ER L&D. At L&D they stated they saw extra fluid and blood in my urine and had to contact Dr. Lewis to get further testing. The nurse came back stating this dr was upset that I was advised to go to the ER and told me to go into his office. When I got there the ultrasound guy was waiting for me to check on the baby. He said the baby looked fine and that he would let the dr know the results. Three days later I could not walk anymore!!! I went back into the office to request my records and clearly indicated that I was not getting the services I needed since I KNEW something was not right!!! The receptionist made an apt to see another dr. and he found a UTI that is a simple fix!

DR Lewis was not what I expected I went in for a simple hysterectomy and end up having 3 surgeries in 5 weeks, three hospital stays, a blood transfusion of two pints, multi-antibiotics, WORST OF ALL I HAD A DOCTOR WHO DID NOT "LISTEN" I WAS DEATHLY SICK WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER SURGERY, FEVER 103.7 and I doctor who was not listening to me on how bad I felt. No doctor no matter how smart he is, that doctor is nothing without an "ear" for the patient. Hope was the only saving grace in his office.

great dr! he is friendly and makes sure to ask you if you have any questions or concerns every time. he always is willing to answer even your most mundane questions. I really wish my insurance was accepted there for my second child! he is wonderful.
