I had surgery done in 2015 liposuction of my arms, back, waist and legs. I look like a new person! I am so happy with my surgery. I love Dr. Taranow and his staff. He also did my tummy tuck in 2013 and had a baby since and I still look amazing. He's a great Surgeon and knows his craft inside and out. I would never let another Doctor touch me.

I am a 31 year old Mom of 3 and I recently had a repaired hernia and tummy tuck done by Dr. Taranow. One of my hernia's made my belly button look like an outie, it was in bad condition. I am brought to tears today just thinking about my brand new belly button and how great it already looks, only 7 days post-op. I am so happy that I went thru with having the procedure done and that I chose Dr. T to do it. The staff was impeccable and Dr. T was amazing. Dr. T, Sara (his secretary/assistant/receptionist), and the staff at NJ Palisades center made me feel like family! Next up----BREAST LIFT!!!!

What an amazing experience! I had my breasts done by Dr. Taranow earlier this year and I love them. I can't stop showing them off! He is so smart and so kind, You really feel at peace when you talk to him. He makes you feel very comfortable and safe. Him and his staff are best. I highly recommend this Doctor.

I had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Douglas Taranow on Friday October 26th and in a nutshell I am smiling ear to ear about my results, experience, and the personal attention I received from him and his assistant, Sarah.

He is warm, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment I walked into his beautiful office for my first consultation, his assistant, Sarah greeted me like I was their only patient that day! After meeting Dr. Taranow, I immediately knew that he would be performing my surgery. I explained I wanted to maintain a “natural” fuller look and had several questions prepared for him. We sat down and discussed everything - - the variation of sizes, saline vs. silicone, discomfort after surgery, etc. everything was discussed so that I could have a better understanding of what I wanted and what I could expect post-surgery. He addressed each of my concerns, answered ALL of my questions and questions I did not even think about asking and at no time during our lengthy consultation did I ever feel rushed. I was comfortable with him from our initial consultation to the operating room and I felt like I was in the hands of an experienced, warm and caring professional surgeon.

I could reach him and/or his assistant at any time with questions and they were very accommodating and made me feel really excited and comfortable about having my procedure done. Most important of all - the results are great and I couldn't be happier.

At my pre-op appointment, Dr. Taranow informed me of everything I would need to know for the day of surgery. He along with Sarah made sure I had someone to take me to and from the surgery center, and someone to take care of me for the first couple of days. I was given my prescriptions for the pain meds so I had plenty of time to get them before surgery.

Dr. Taranow and Sarah both checked up on me after my procedure via phone to confirm that I was doing ok and to answer any questions and/or address concerns that I might have had - - I had none due to the fact that I was feeling so well after my procedure. I have absolutely no regrets, beyond thrilled about my results. I really could go on and on, but trust me Dr. Taranow is an amazingly talented and professional surgeon.

Where do I begin!?!? Simply stated, Dr. T has changed my life! After many years of battling my weight and, at times, being morbidly obese, I finally decided to do something to take charge of my life. I had lap band surgery in January 2012 and to date, I've lost approximately 160 lbs! As you could imagine, between excessive weight loss and two pregnancies, my body looked like a deflated balloon. I was lucky enough to cross paths with Dr. Taranow and in February 2014, he worked his magic. I had breast augmentation surgery as well as a tummy tuck / body lift.

Throughout the process from beginning to end, Dr. Taranow and his staff treated me like family. I was never rushed or pressured into making a decision. The ease of appointment scheduling and availability to answer questions via telephone or text, was so convenient and important to me. Dr. T set realistic expectations of both the surgery recovery and recovery time, as well as the physical results. One thing you should know, Dr. Taranow is a perfectionist! He's caring, concerned and always available. His bedside manner is amazing. I feel great, I look great and this summer was the first I've EVER worn a bikini in public! Two of my friends had similar surgeries with Dr. T in the months following my surgery and we are all extremely pleased with our results and the overall experience with Dr. Taranow, his surgical team and Sara, his office manager.
