I agree with all of the negative comments people have to say about this physician.

Dismissive, unhelpful, and clearly does not have a strong understanding of the conditions he claims to specialize in.

I've never been so poorly treated by a physician in my life. I came to Dr. Margolies with autonomic symptoms, daily headaches, difficulty thinking of words, confusion, extreme sensitivity to noises & other stimuli, and extreme fatigue. He proceeded to tell me it must be stress and depression. I explained to him that I've been in good spirits despite being sick and in fact have very little stress since I had to quit my job due to symptoms. Anytime I disagreed with him he would refute me point by point. He told me that no one is ever going to find a physical basis to my symptoms and that the doctors who are trying are doing me a disservice by running tests. I simply need to accept that I need to change my mood. I told him my symptoms are forcing me to put my life on hold and he told me that was my fault. I then did begin to cry and yet he continued to be arrogant & cruel. I believe he was showing off because there was a student doctor in the room. It was unprofessional & upsetting.

Dr. Margolies is a wonderful neurologist! He is always on time and explains things in a way I can understand. His staff is very nice and helpful!! I have called him on a few occasions and he makes it a point to respond that day, which he does! That says a lot for a specialist :) I live an hour away and it makes it all worth it because he was able to pinpoint my headaches and give me relief! He is always on time, which is a huge plus! A great man!!!!
