I suffered from migraines. At first Dr S was very helpful and kind but as I needed more Topamax he was content to let me suffer with breakthrough head aches and deal with them with other meds that were not effective.He also seemed to grow distant and less personal. When my internist increased the Topamax dose to an affective level, Dr S became very upset and dismissed me from his care. What gives?

TO me Dr. Stojanov is wonderful in that he takes time to discuss problems with you and will always provide the exact care that is needed and doesn't rush you when you feel like you need to talk

DR. STOJANOV IS VERY INTELLIGENT, BUT HE IS VERY "BY THE BOOK." HE DID NOT ACCEPT MY DIAGNOSIS OF MS EVEN THOUGH TWO PRIOR PHYSICIANS HAD CONFIRMED THE DIAGNOSIS. BECAUSE THE MRI WAS NOT CONCLUSIVE DESPITE OTHER POSITIVE TESTING, HE WAS NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT THE DIAGNOSIS AND SAID THAT HE COULD NOT HELP ME. HE SAID I HAD SOMETHING, BUT HE WAS NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS. FOLLOW-UP MRI WAS ALSO INCONCLUSIVE, SO HE DISMISSED ME AS A PATIENT. HE WANTED TO SEND ME OUT OF STATE TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN FOR A BRAND-NEW DIAGNOSIS, INSTEAD OF JUST TREATING ME WITH THE DIAGNOSIS TWO PHYSICIANS HAD ALREADY CONFIRMED. HE IS VERY POLITE BUT DISTANT. AS I SAID, I BELIEVE HE IS VERY INTELLIGENT BUT I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH HIS TREATMENT AND DISMISSAL.
