Dr. Boone rebuilt my ankle after a bad fall. Staff always caring and helpful. Dr. seems a bit of a perfectionist but that is a good thing for a surgeon. Definitely recommend him and Raleigh Orthopedic Clinic.

Dr.Boone performed an ACL reconstruction in 2001, it has held up very well. I was well supported by him and his staff in all followup visits. I had an issue with the ice water recycle gizmo they sent me home with, the staff was not being helpful, but I talked to Dr.Boone directly and he rectified and set it right. Very good patient management skills.

Dr. Boone is amazing! He performed ORIF of my ankle. It was my first and only surgery, and he was amazing. He is very personable and kind, and his staff are great too! I couldn't have asked for better care. I'm in the medical field myself, so I know great care. I pray I don't need any more othro surgery, but if I do I will be returning to Dr. Boone!

In my opinion, Dr Boone is very unprofessional and he will never treat another family member of mine.

Dr. Boone on several occasions has seen me or a family member on an impromptu basis to evaluate an injury that has occurred. He has provided an accurate evaluation in each case as well as an appropriate course of action. Unfortunately, this past spring I broke my leg, but under Dr. Boone's care I was back on the tennis court within a couple months to the surprise of my tennis team. In addition, I have referred several friends to Dr. Boone who each expressed gratitude for the recommendation.

I am writing you to thank you for the marvelous job you did repairing my 13 year old sons 5th metatarsal fracture. What a gift you possess and a wonderful bedside manner. You made us both feel comfortable with your kind, compassionate, yet confident manner. My son races BMX who was ready to go back to his racing, Dr. Boone explained it to my son so he could understand it, from a Doc's nad a athletes point of view. Now has healed and back to racing. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is very active in sports and has a foot injury.

I had a bunion removed by Dr. Boone in May, 2011. I can't say enough about Dr. Boone. I am finally pain free! He explained everything to me and was very compassionate. I will definitely go back to see Dr. Boone again and recommend him to my friends.

My sister had bunion surgery by Dr.Boone on a Tuesday. Most doctors see their patients back in 5 to 7 days. But Dr. Boone did not want to see her back for two weeks! She did well for the first day or two but then on the Friday after surgery my sister developed a lot of pain and called Dr. Boone. Most doctors would want to see their patients immediately and find out what the problem was. But she was just told to take more pain medication. The following Tuesday she died of a pulmonary embolus (blood clot to her lungs). Is this the kind of doctor you would want to have operate on you?

My experience with Dr. Boone occurred approximately 3 years ago with a tendon problem in my ankle. After attempts at conventional treatment, the tendon was repaired. However, Dr. Boone's aftercare guidance was poor, few follow-up visits were recommended and no physical therapy. The ankle continued to be a problem for several years after. Unfortunately, his office did not obtain pre-authorization for surgery, which once the insurance company learned more about my condition, I was left to foot the entire bill myself. Several years later in 2011, I went to a different surgeon in Virginia. This surgeon had to repair the same ankle tendon in my ankle and also repair the adjacent one leaving me with 3/4 of a tendon instead of 2. The aftercare was extremely different compared to Dr. Boone's and far more superior. Having to undergo surgery again and lose function is a serious consequence of Dr. Boone's initial care.

As a mother of three children and very active I suffered a very severe lisfranc injury dislocating all 5 metatarsal bones, crushing and fracturing the others. I was terrified that I would be handicapped for the rest of my life along with reading negative reviews of this type of injury. I have never broken anything in my life so it was crucial that I find someone that was well experienced in my type pf injury. I absolutely Love Dr. Boone and his staff. Dr. Boone took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my foot and what he would have to do to get me walking again. 12 pins and scews, two plates, 2 surgeries and eight months later I'm walking with my eyes swelling with tears of joy. Consider yourself blessed to have him operate on you. I will never forget the gift through GOD he has given me to walk again. Thank You Dr. Boone
