Brushes off questions she doesn't know the answer to. In a 2.5 hr. appointment, she saw me for 10 minutes and spent most of the time typing her notes on the computer.

Dr. Tara McCannel is a rock star. Her staff and colleagues, both in the operating room and at Jules Stein, are everything a patient could ask for or want. I only wish the eye exams visits weren't so long ...I would highly recommend Jules Stein, but in particular, Dr. Tara McCannel. Can't thank her enough.

I feel very blessed to have had Dr. Tara McCannel as my Eye Surgeon and Physician.. Her qualification and reputation is without equal. Her efficiency and kindness provide encouragement and understanding.

Dr. TARA MCCANNEL was extremely helpful in assisting me with the option of surgery and how that would play out......The doctors and staff could not have been more helpful and considerate with a patient what was nervous and had sweaty palms on the day of surgery........Jules Stein Hospital and Dr. TARA MCCANNEL score an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best). They were professional, helpful, positive, knowledgeable and considerate. I am extremely happy that I choose Jules Stein Hospital and Dr. TARR MCCANNEL

Dr. Tara McCannel ruin my eye. She did not properly inform of the things I needed to know and I had to go seek more information from another doctor. She was not the bit compassionate about my discomfort and fear of what was happening. She would not do her own follow-up after surgery and allowed an unqualified person to do so. She lied to me several times about how the procedure should be performed. I trusted her and she failed me and I would never recommend her to anyone. I would rather warned them not to go to her at all. She is a horrible doctor and her first priority is to collect from your insurance and not the patient's welfare.
