I have had periodontal disease most of my adult life so I understand the program. I know how to manage the problems that arise. I am from Chicago and had the top periodontist in town . Dr. Johnson performed laser surgery on 1 pocket and surgery was successful. His fees are extremely high. He claimed it was the law to have one dental check up per year in Florida referred me to a dentist of his choice who he said should do my dental cleaning 3 times a year made a appointment for me at his office for follow up. His dental assistant cleaned my teeth which probably was the worst job I ever had. In casual conversation I had with her she told me she graduated from dental school 2 months prior. BTW that charge was $180. I expect to pay top dollar for the best service. I don't expect to be conned . My advice would be to stay clear.

Great dentist with a great staff. Had 2 teeth pulled in preparation for 2 implants. The process was flawless - state equipment. Recommend.

Up to this point I am finding it hard to give Dr Johnson a final rating. He has completed 1 implant for me which went extremely well. I am still in the process of getting 2 more implants. I have 3 front teeth missing for which I am getting 2 implants and a bridge. I have had posts put in for both teeth , after a month or 2 it appeared that neither post was holding, they both had to be removed and had to start over. 2 new posts were put in, the same thing happened to both of these posts, and they were removed. This time he decided to change things up and redrill to create posts that would fit tighter? Up until now 1 of the posts seems to be doing well, the 2nd post was not good and had to come out. He decided to drill where the bridged tooth was going, hoping it would take better. This was almost 2 weeks ago. The process was to have taken 3 months from when we initially started. It has been 5-6 months .

I have been going to dentists much more than the average person. Supposedly my mother took an antibiotic when pregnant with me that prevented the last layer of enamel from coming in on my teeth. At the age of 16 I had to have a number of my teeth capped. My teeth have always been much more sensitive than normal. As a result of having to sit in dentist chairs so much over the years I developed a serious phobia. I have attempted to go to a number of different dentists, periodontists over the years. Many times I had to get up and walk out for a number of reasons. Once, I went to a periodontist for a root canal, without saying a word to me as far as what he was doing I found myself not able to breathe through my mouth, he had placed what they call "dam" within my mouth so nothing would go down my throat. I went into a panic, told them to take the thing off of me and I left. One thing that Scott Johnson and his staff will do is make you aware of every step along the way so you know what is coming, you can prepare mentally for it. In addition, if you need to swallow, catch your breath, need a break, they have your back. With regard to my situation, I don't know how it's all going to turn out. Once I do I will come back and let you know

I have just had my 5th dental implant from Johnson. I have never had any pain. He is the most kind and caring dentist I have ever seen

Wow! By far the best dentist I have ever had and I have had several during my 80 years of life. No Pain , no bleeding, no swelling and great professional manner. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone
