I am shocked this person is a Doctor!?
I took my Mom to Urgent Care because she injured herself opening a can and this place was open at 8:15pm on Saturday. They are supposed to be OPEN until 9pm, however, when we tried to check in, we were told that they are not taking anyone at this time. The waiting room was empty, not a single person was waiting to be seen and there wasn't a single patient in the rooms as the 'Doctor' and assistants were all available and basically looking at the clock waiting to go home. The girl behind the computer had a swollen face on one side and looked miserable so for sure she didn't want to be there helping anyone. The so-called Doctor - DAVID LOYA - was the rudest person I've ever met in any kind of medical facility. His quick response was go to the ER, without even asking what the problem was and what care was needed. I told him that I don't want to go to ER, I am coming to urgent care because they are close to me and supposedly open until 9pm (in another 45min) and their waiting room is empty to which he replied that he can call the police???! I am beyond horrified that this person is a doctor. We left but sat in the car outside and waited to see if they accept anyone and NO, they turned away 2 more 'patients' and basically just waited for the clock to say 9pm to leave.
Just shocking and horrible 'service'. Stay away!

I went into Simi Valley Hospital with dificulty breathing. The Triage Nurse,The other Nurses and 2 other Physicians could not diagnose me and kept saying that I was fine. After 1 hour and 20 minutes of no help from the other Emergency Room staff, Dr. David Loya came in, checked my breathing and immediately gave orders to give me Xrays on my lungs. Diagnosis: Lung Infection. He gave me an inhailer and I was better after about 4 hours. That day, he was my hero. As an Anemic, I tend to have shortness of breath, but that day was unusual. Praise God for Dr. David Loya. He is more thorough and it's not just another patient to him. It shows. He is a credit to his profession. My infant son went in and he never let a Doctor touch him. Dr. David Loya spoke to him in a very calm and wonderful voice while he was checking him and my son responded attentively and calmly. I've never seen anything like it and I've raised 8 kids. He is incredible.

Very Poor bedside manner. He treated my mother and said some very disparaging things about her when he was just outside her room. I don't know where this guy learned medicine but he sure has a lot to learn about respecting patients and not making fun of their appearance. If you see him ask for another doctor right away.
