Dr. Bennett helped out daughter with and somewhat rare condition with her foot. He took a lot of time with every appointment and was very honest about everything. He has a different type of bedside manner that I appreciate. He called us at home several times to discuss the problem and always answered my questions. He is an amazing surgeon and my daughter is pain free and walking again.

My 6-year-old daughter had serious issues with her feet, and Dr. Bennett performed multiple surgeries on them in late 2008 and throughout 2009. Today, she is 8 years old, and her feet look fantastic, with almost no scarring whatsoever. Dr. Bennett is an "old-school" doctor - extremely knowledgeable and definitely more than capable. He is not one to sugar-coat his words or be your friend, and that is not why I'm there. I want a capable, knowledgeable doctor in whom I have the upmost confidence. Dr. Bennett is such a doctor. Dr. Bennett may appear "gruff" in his manners, but he still took time to answer our questions and our daughter adores him. For a recent Thanksgiving project, she listed "Dr. Bennett" as one of the things she is thankful for. He always gave us good advice and made us comfortable in the hospital. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a highly skilled, no-nonsense doctor who will get the job done.

I was not impressed with Dr. Bennett. He was running ~30 minutes behind when I saw him so I felt like he was trying to speed things along when we were talking. I asked him my questions, which he answered, but not to my satisfaction. He rushed through everything and gave some flippant answers to some of my questions. For example, my mother has a lot of problems with her feet and I was wondering if some of the issues I mentioned meant that I was heading down the same path. He responded by saying that he would be retired by the time it was an issue. He made other comments as well - some of them were off topic and some were just inane. He prescribed orthotics as he was going to see his next patient, so in retrospect, I should have just stopped the process there. But I didn’t, so I ended up purchasing new orthotics from him that I have just been told will not help my condition (I was so unhappy with the results that I got a second opinion).

Waited quite a while. He was in a rush going back and forth between patients. Seemed competent and honest. However, his gruff manner and jokes were not personally comfortable for me. Staff very nice.

Letting Dr. Bennett operate on my foot was the worst mistake of my life. My advice: stay away from him.

Doctor Bennett kept me waiting 1 hour and 55 minutes before he examined me. He was rude. He misdiagnosed my problem. He wanted to operate on my foot which ended up not being necessary. I would not recommend Dr. Bennett.

I can't rate the Dr. on his knowledge because I never got to see him. I walked out after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes in his exam room without being acknowledged by the Dr. or his staff.

Dr. Bennett took care of my elderly mother, orthopedic wise, for many years. He did several surgeries (broken ankle, broken hip, hip joint replacement)for my Mom and he was kind and considerate, explaining everything that was to be done. She went from being wheel chair bound because of pain in her hip, to being able to get around with her walker...he improved her quality of life. She thought he was very good.I did also.
