I had good experiences with Dr. Stephens over many years of medication maintenance. Sadly, he died from a sudden heart attack on May 8, 2021.

he's ok...but there are problems. not always the best in talking with you about your problems but he is helpful I think..knowledgeable, but yet there is a barrier to some extent. He is not the holy grail psychiatrist that can resolve your problems but he can help in the interim I think for academic or life stresses.

lots of problems with him. not good at dealing with challenging patients...seemed demanding (i.e. if you do this..then YOU GET THIS). Initial communication with him was not positive or helpful. However he seemed to improve later on. He was prone to GENERALIZING patients into groups. I wouldn't go to him for intricate needs or severe cases...
