Dr. Simon is a top-notch medical professional who has consistently provided our family with the absolute best of eye care for many years. My husband is in the elevator/construction industry, and he has, from time to time, required emergent care for job-related incidents. He insists on submitting to Dr. Simon, as opposed to receiving care from any other doctor at any other venue! We have only experienced caring concern from this fine doctor and his staff. I now have an emergent need, and was worked into the schedule without hesitation or delay. I simply cannot imagine going to an emergency room and/or any other doctor for something as precious as my eye sight. People who tend to write negative or unfavorable comments on medical professionals tend to comingle their own emotional baggage when doing so, and it is regrettable that potential damage can be done with just a couple of key strokes. If I am asked to fill out papers and wait a bit to be seen, no worries...at least I am being seen by one of the best medical professionals in the area!

People have bad days, even doctors. He made it ours.I took my elderly parents to see him.The office staff was nice. The doctor was running around screaming at them. There was only one patient in the office who was seen quickly, briefly and left.We completed forms for 30 minutes, sat for over an hour and waited. His assistant finally saw my mother, reviewed her records and gave some minmal eye exams. She finished and left and a tornado entered the room. The doctor barely introduced himself, told us he does his own testing and closed the lights. He asked my mom to look at a red light on the wall and put a bright light in her eye.He was speaking a mile a minute and my mom had some delay in understanding and got confused. She is 83.He spoke too fast so and low.I asked him to please slow down.He turned to me,said he can't see her,she has special needs. He's too busy.He could not look at me without jerky eye and body movements and was quite rude insulting.Do eye doctors prescribe drugs? We left in tears.

My Mom had Cataract surgery with Dr. Simon and surgery is bad, after a year of having the surgery she sees worse. Very disappointed as she had a pay surgery out of her pocket, because her insurance is not PPO, furthermore, she still experience those nasty things inside her eye. Dr. Simon did a very bad job with my mom. She paid $2,000 to the doctor and $2000 for room.

Doctor is very thorough and extremely detailed. He is very interested in his discipline and patients benefit if they are willing to listen. If you want to get a thorough examination, he's your doctor; otherwise, do not see him.

He takes his time on examinations. He explains what he is doing and his findings. The wait is long because he takes his time with each patient.
