I went to see Dr. Gibson as a new patient and had an 11:00 AM appointment. The nurse checked my vitals right away in the first few minutes and then I waited and waited in the small exam room for a full 45 minutes. Dr. Gibson finally shows up at 11:45 and facing his computer the entire time asking me routine questions that are being prompted by the software application he is on. I could have just as easily filled out the form on-line. After 15 minutes of this he is done, it’s now lunch time, suppose he had plans and needed to leave. He did NOT request for blood work, there was no exam of any kind, no appointment for an exam later, no request for medical records from my previous doctor, nothing. This was a complete waste of one hour of my time and whatever he is charging the insurance company. Based on my experience, I can NOT recommend this doctor.

I made an appointment with Dr.Gibson one month in advance as a new patient. Appt date June 27th. I was called twice in advance advising me to show up 15 minutes early to fill out paper work.Arrived 20 minutes early and was advised that the doctor would be 30 minutes late of the scheduled appt time of 10:00 . I asked the receptionist to advise me by 10:15 if he was going to be later, after waiting for approximately 40 minutes,I was told they could not give me a specific time and would I like to reschedule. I said no and walked out. They called me twice to advise me of the appt and there would be a charge if I failed to cancel. I did cancel two other appts for the day just to be there; I wish I had received a call from his staff advising me of the problem with the DR. showing up on time.I understand a doctor's time is very important but a patient's time is important as well.I waited a month for this appt. No rescheduling with this office,what a waste of my time.

I am new to John Muir and find if a little confusing. I feel like the staff was not clear enough for me being new to this system. I really liked my first visit with Dr.Lance Gibson. Dr Gibson Listened to my concerns and was very informative and did not rush through my appointment. He has referred me to the specialist I needed and so far I have been very happy with them as well. If you are new to John Muir I would give him a try.

I felt like this doctor did not help me at all. I went to the doctor because I had sinus head pains, my ears were throbbing, shortness of breath, and felt stuffed up for 2 weeks. He told me I my illness was minor and would not prescribe me an antibiotic. He recommended some over the counter medications and when I told him I had already been taking those medications for 2 weeks he told me I should stop taking them because they are not effective after 3 to 5 days. I left the office very unsatisfied and feeling like I had waisted money my taking time off and paying for a doctor that did not even listen to my concerns and did not even spend 10 minutes with me. I am not the kind of person that goes to the doctor trying to get a medication I do not need. I rarely ever go to the doctor and have been known to wait far too long before doing so.

I have been going to Dr. Gibson for 2 years now. It isn't hard to get an appointment and the Dr. is knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. I have never felt rushed. Would highly recommend!

I got treated like I I didn't know anything and was given a bad attitude from him just because I was asking questions and he gave me smart remarks like he doesn't have all the time in the world to answer my questions because he was late for his other appointment, and he kept giving me bad attitude because i told him i was a smoker. Then, my neighbor told me that she sees him too and she needed some vital care since she has cancer and organ failure and she smokes too, he gave her the same type of treatment I received. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave her snappy remarks that her health was bad, but cant prescribe her any meds, so theres nothing else he can do. He doesn't do his job with love, and doesn't allow his patients to ASK QUESTIONS. and apparently has a problem with smokers. The last appointment I had with him, he did not even look at me, nor diagnose me, and just handed me 4 quit now magnets and sent me away, which wasted my whole day.
