I never had a problem with him, he done both my cataracts and even came in at 8:30 -9 at night to remove stitches. But 3 years ago the girl at the front desk made some derogatory comments about me and this black old man, so I told the office manager and she said "I promise she will be remanded" 3 years go by and I go blind in my left eye, I keep calling ,then I'm told that I missed 5 appointments... They REFUSE to see me!!! I said NO I have not had any appointments made with you to miss! So they tell Dr Gwin and I go almost 2 months blind in my left eye detached retina all be cause the lady at front was a racist and and office politics... They need to fire the office manager because she knew that's what happened and would not even talk to me on the phone! pesonally if you go there and have to make a choice of being belittled or going somewhere else DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR UNTIL THEY CLEAR OUT THE BIGOTS!

Dr. Gwinn implanted Toric Lense in my eyes a year ago. Now both eyes have floaters and what looks like debris floating in both eyes. He ruptured a blood vessel in my right eye during the operation. He continued the operation when good practice says to stop and wait for the blood vessel to heal. I asked the doctor to please not use one of his Opthalmolic Assistants during my visits, he answered short and rudely, "NO". He seems to be egotisticle. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Gwin is a wonderful doctor. Ten years ago, I had an emergency and he worked me in that day and saw me several days a week- including weekends, for a year. He was willing to try anything for me to be able to see. I still see him and he has helped my vision tremedously. If it was not for him, I probably would be blind. I am very thankful that we have doctors like him!

Outstanding doctor who cured my eye of rheumatoid arthritis that appeared after cataract surgery. Very caring, knowledgeable, friendly, optimistic. Even more importantly, he will discuss or explain as long as you have questions.

Dr. Gwin is one of the most caring and brillant docotrs I have dealt with. I have had surgeries at most of the teaching universities on the east coast and he has been the best. I just had a cornea transplant and my vision has increased a thousand percent. I could not see to walk without assistance and now I can do just about anythihng I want to do. I have no words to explain what Dr. Gwin means to me. I recommend him to anyone with eye problems.
