Without being unnecessarily rude, I'd look elsewhere if I were you.. Lack of knowledge about DEA and opioids for pain, and what it is like to suffer it constantly.

Had heard good things about her; my visit was a cold slap in the face. She had me waiting a long time, which I understand can happen, but when she finally came in I soon realized my visit was a waste of time. Lots of time. I could have spent those 2.5 hours doing something worthwhile. I found her to be not only unhelpful but belligerent and adversarial. She had made a decision about my care without talking to me at all about my problem, didn't want to discuss what had worked for me or not worked for me, and her decision on how to treat my problem would have left me very ill and unable to function. Maybe she had a bad day; I don't know, but I felt too intimidated by her poor attitude to return. I think she is in the wrong specialty. Patients in chronic pain do not need to be made to feel guilty or worse. She had no empathy whatsoever.
