Dr. Allen and Katy Nava are fantastic providers. Each visit has been very thorough and they have both addressed all my concerns and questions patiently and provided in- depth explanations. They provide a specific treatment plan and so far, the recommendations have been helping
Dr. Allen was highly recommended by my PCP and family members and I can see why.

It is with great pleasure and an honor that I add my positive comments to that of Dr. Allen.
First and foremost, anyone can be assessed a less than desirable mark or grade. especially by those individuals that tend to walk on water with their nose so far into the clouds that they bump into their own shadow. I have read negative comments from here and there for just about every person or subject that there might be. In fact, we relish as if to enjoy such comments, an then we give these poor senseless individuals credence by not responding to their usual dribble. Let's surmise, that these brainless, individuals who voice such serious comments against a their doctor, don't really want to be healed they want to be held and cuddled, especially since their is no one else in their life that will. Well folks, my Doctor, is not my cuddlier, He is my MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, He is here to make my life better by His knowledge and His efforts. My Dr. ; Dr. Allen. is not some quack, that works from His truck of a rusted out 30 year old car. He is, schooled, learned, knowledgeable, caring , respectful or me as a patient and even you; you hurtful patient that can't seemed to see the difference, or realize the difference. My Dr. Dr. Everett Allen is a gift to the Community of San Antonio who needs Quality in the Practice of medicine. Dr. Allen was late, so what? Just maybe he was saving someone from a life of pain and discomfort, by prescribing just the right med for them.
Or just maybe, he was having to say to a patient, that there was nothing more He could do for them. Or just maybe, he had to use the facilities as a mere human would have to do, even you, when your not so far into the clouds.

Let me remind, anyone who writes the negative dribble on the SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS OF THE WORLD, it is people like you that feed and continue to exist as the worst of Society.
Yes, it is your Dribble that fuels this Social nonsense. Because to say something negative is oh just so easy. Sense you do NOT have to back it up by facts and truth. and that's because your other senseless, brainless, followers, and like readers, have never stopped to think that they are feeding your ego, rather than identifying the negative action of another.
I feel so very sorry for you individually and collectively ISSUE NONSENSE, that you have to resort to a medium as anti-social comments to brighten your lousy day.
My suggestion, to you AND all who enjoy casting negative comments against my DOCTOR, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! AND SEE SOMEONE WHO DOESNOT CARE BUT HAS THEIR HAND OUT FOR YOUR CHECK.
LEAVE MY MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL ALONE. GO EAT AN APPLE AND KEEP A GOOD DOCTOR AWAY WHILE THE APPLE WORKS TO RELEAVE YOUR CONGESTED SYSTEM OF HATE.
As for me and my fellow patients of DR. Everett H. Allen, we have your back. Because we know that you have ours; Medically, Professionally, Honestly, and Sincerely. After-all, You are a Man of Character, who does not deserve dribbleish patients. They are the one's who take up your time and energy against us who care about YOU.
Thank God For Dr. Allen. And Thank You Dr. Allen.
I am so sorry, the you were hurt in any way, by anyone who is senseless and heartless.

My first visit with Dr Allen was ok though I found I spent more time talking to his staff rather than him and he told me he was running behind. My second visit, I walked in using a cane for support and asked his nurse, who you talk to initially, that I was in a great deal of pain and would like injections for my knees. His nurse indicated she understood and would get things ready. It was another 25 minutes waiting in the exam room before a very rushed Dr Allen came in to see me. We briefly reviewed my RA issues and he then stated when he wanted to see me again. I asked about the knee injections and he became very angry saying I should have informed his nurse because he now had no time for that as he had a luncheon appointment. I told him I did ask his nurse about the injections (which my husband verified) reiterated my pain level and mobility issues. He already had his hand on the door and very angrily added he had no time and it would have to wait until my next visit. I left very upset, in pain and angry. Needless to say, there were no more visits.

I was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Allen. I have struggled with my symptoms for years and visited with a couple of different doctors over the years. Dr. Allen took his time with me and in the first visit figured out my diagnose. Very happy to have found him.

Saw Dr Everette back in 2002, since then have gotten to point I need to see a specialist, I couldn't get past Megan the receptionist, I have PPO plan where there is no need for referral, last I saw him he advised me to return when condition worsen since I was much younger and need for treatment was not urgent, why waste a physicians time and insurance $ (coins/deduct) to get referral when not needed, San Antonio has many qualified and highly recommended physician to have to deal with special requirements just to make appointment, maybe a blessing in disguise after seeing these reviews, never mind Dr. Everette, I found another Rheumatologist, it didn't take long making an appointment that didn't require I jump thru hoops prior to being seen.

Bad experience!!! The worst care ever!! Dr. Everett Allen is not compassionate, and seems to be rushed all the time. Several things missed with my appointments. I also saw the PA more than him. He also does not call you when labs or results are abnormal. They have the medical assistant call you. JOKE!! Go somewhere else.

I have been going to Dr. Allen for several years. He has always been up to date on the latest information and keeps me up to date. I have questions and he will take the time to answer them. I have never had a problem with him or his staff. The staff has been very helpful as well. Dr. Allen may seem cold when he is talking to you but he is listening and writing down what is being said for his notes. I see him as very personable when I have an appointment. I can not say how much I have appreciated his help and knowledge. I would recommend him to anyone and have recommended him to people in the past. I love to come to his office for an appointment because he is the only Dr. that I see that I can get in and out most of the time before I was suppose to. His appointment time is always on time if not a little early. I would like to be able to get my test results on line but the group has chose to not allow this information on line.

I found DR Allen to be cold, impatient and dismissive. I've had joint pain for years and it's progressively getting worse. My test results (for what was tested) came back negative. He relies completely on test results and not the patient at all. Told me to take curcumin and come back in 6 months.

I am astounded by the negative comments here. Those commenters HAVE to be describing a DIFFERENT Dr. Allen! I have nothing short of excellent reports with the doctor and his treatment plan for me. I've been a patient for at 8-10 years and I can't help but imagine that those commenters may have played some role in their bad experiences as I have had none of the issues of which they speak. Dr. Allen is stuck with me as long as he practices and I'm in need of his services!

Dr Allen is very punctual. However, this is overshadowed by his impatient patient interview. I have been suffering from chronic pain for the last 13 years getting progressively worse. It had taken the nine months to get in to see a Rheumatologist once my pain doctor said he was going to refer me. Upon getting in the interview due to lack of sleep and being in severe pain my head was very fuzzy and I wasn't able to come up with answers quick enough for the doctor. He hadn't any compassion. He was cold and clinical. Therefore he's ran the written test for lupus which came back negative. Surprise! Even though I told him I had a positive in the past I've had to follow up appointments with his PA and no results. And I had such high hopes for this doctor due to all the positive reviews
