This is really a two and one-half star review. This doctor, who is admittedly brilliant, can be hard assed if you're you're having a crisis on a Monday--even though he's on the premises and walked right by me, he refused to sit with me for even just five minutes because one of his too-high-to-count rules is that he doesn't see patients at all on Mondays and Fridays, even if he's in the office going through his mail and even if you are sitting there in crisis. Sometimes they will let you see a back-up doctor but sometimes not! In addition, it has been like pulling teeth without anesthesia to get him to escribe to my mail order pharmacy--hmmm, just when I finally lost my patience with him over that this morning, how coincidental that Dr. Gordon just found out a way (this afternoon) to escribe to my mail order pharmacy! I'll only believe it when I phone the mail order pharmacy in a few days and they tell me they received his escribed prescriptions for me. He also tested me for sugar when I told him what my sugar scores were from just two months ago--he claims he'll clean up the mess if I get a bill by telling Medicare my sugar test was medically necessary but that's another one I"ll believe only when I see it! As it is I paid for a sugar blood test just two or three weeks ago because Medicare doesn't pay for blood sugar tests every ten minutes. Not even full blown diabetics get this much lab testing for sugar! I am boycotting this doctor until I see the results to which I am entitled--prescriptions escribed to the mail order pharmacy and no more blood sugar tests except maybe two a year. Dr. Gordon just don't know anything about Medicare billing!
