Dr Baker has been my Primary Care doc for a couple of years now. She is doing a good job, she has mostly been available when I needed her in a hurry, and she is running the needed tests and dealing me off to specialists when indicated. One of whom is a Pain specialist who is happy to prescribe me many pain meds for my spinal issues. If Dr Baker is not available, someone else in the practice can usually fill in for something if it needs attention right away. I see that someone had a not so great experience with her a decade ago, but she is in the 'burbs now, and she is doing a great job as Primary Care Physician in my experience. The role of the Primary doc has changed, nowadays they just deal you off to specialists most of the time. She listens to what I say and usually has some response - like a human being. So, real conversations, not just pronouncments from on high. I haven't written a review earlier because there's enough competition for good doctors out there! I don't want access time for her to be any longer. But I guess it will be and she deserves it. I would say her staff is above average, timeliness slips sometimes, as is often does in any Doc's practice . Me, female, near to retirement, so if she wasn't familiar with the joys of getting older before, she is now.

Dr. Baker is an absolute moron. I mean, I understand that she is in the inner city, and deals with drug sealing behaviors all day everyday, but she should know what conditions warrant actual pain. My wife has spinal stenosis, a congenital spinal defect, and osteoarthritis, and still had a hard time getting 5MG Percocets. She is in a tremendous amount of constant pain. She was treated like a common drug addict. Now that my wife sees a real Dr., she is in a lot less pain, and is able to get around a lot better.
