Overstretched by sciatica during hip replacement: neglected to inflate booties I got blood clot which I had to throw a tantrum to get a Doppler or I would have been dead. 4 inch clot right shin. Foot, ankle and up the back of leg get spasms equivalent to being hit with live round ( according to 5 surgeons in NY) who stated they couldn't believe a surgeon performed the awful torture on me. They think he allowed a PA or a resident to stand in. My toes spread out like fingers and inhibit my walk/balance. When I asked what he did to me, he told me I signed a release. I guess that absolves this clown of responsibility. I ran back to NY for my left hip and I stayed here. No more PA medicine men for me. In NY I had left hip done. Ten days I was climbing stairs and driving; when I wasn't having spasms. Find a REAL surgeon and keep away from the clown. He is God awful! The stars should not be there. I had to put one to leave a comment. No stars deserved.

Went to Dr McClelland with severe left hip pain. He took x rays and said everything was pretty much the same as last year. He would not schedule follow up visit or order test to investigate problem. Family Dr. Ordered test trying to help me get to bottom of problem. Two test pointed to possible infection and or loosening of prosthesis. Test results were sent to Dr McClelland and again was told by his nurse everything is fine. Three months later I remain in severe pain. I went to Pittsburgh for help and found out that left hip had pulled off pelvis and is only hanging on by two screws. May not walk again due to his lack of concern for my well being

Incredible Doctor!!! So professional and personable. Takes the time to explain everything prior to any procedure. He did my Dads hip surgery, Excellent results. Staff from checking in to nursing to checking out and xray department were the best!!!

He let me go FOUR months with a fractured humeris before saying I needed surgery. Then he handed me over to Dr. Tyndall. McClellan didn't even do the surgery. If you need a broken bone set, run far away from this guy.

Great doctor. Diagnosed my torn Achilles tendon, performed surgery, and conducted post-op follow ups along with his staff. This is the kind of doctor you want to treat you.
