I was seeing Dr Solon for Psoriatic artritus and psoriasis. One Day she came into the room sat down and questioned me as to why I changed pharmacy's which was the one she refered me to. I explained why and she said "you people on medicare expect everything free. By the time i retire there will be none left for me." I left crying. Never saw Dr Solon again. I dont even know if she knows why i left

she was rude, with a major attitude !!! I suffer from psoriatic arthritis, and have for 20+ years. she questioned that diagnosis, and questioned my decision to not take biologics. I have tried them in the past to no avail that just made me sick and infectious. # getsomebedsidemanner

She spent most of my appointment talking about how much she hated "government health care: i.e. my Medicare. When she went next door to see a patient (my best friend) who have private ins, she was extremely accomidating and very helpful. For me, nada. Said I should" start swimming". BTW my friend and I have the exact same diagnosis.

MY MOTHER TRUSTED DR. SOLON FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND SHE REALLY REALLY LIKED HER ALOT UNTIL SHE CALLED MOTHER ONE NIGHT AND TOLD HER THAT THE LYMES DISEASE WAS BACK OUT OF HER HANDS THAT SHE WOULD NEED TO SEE AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE PHYSICIAN FOR IV THERAPY RIGHT AWAY. WHEN WE GOT THE LABS BACK I DISCOVERED THAT HER LYMES WAS NOT BACK THEN AFTER SEEING THIS "OTHER DOCTOR" HE CONFIRM WITH ANOTHER TEST THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE LYMES. SO DR. SOLON NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO READ LAB WORK OR LEAVE IT UP TO THE TECHS THAT DO. THIS CAUSED QUITE AN UPSET AND WORRY OVER NOTHING. THANK GOODNESS!
